Ross Gload once made $400 million dollars per year in my league because the Devil Rays had extra cash. He won 86 MVPs and hit 4,534,232 home runs per year.

Damon Hanlin was promoted from AAA Oklahoma RedHawks to the active roster. Released P Mike Crudale, he refused assignment to minors. --- He did pitch all three games inbetween, against the Sox... a decent reliever, and gave up one run in the 4 innings. The players that he was traded for, are fair prospects making no money. This was in average manager mode... me confused

I'm in the 20th year of my fictional league. After a disappointing playoffs (lost in LCS after taking 3-0 lead...i may never recover) I decided to add a big name pitcher to prevent another October travesty. As luck would have it the best pitcher in the league 29 year old Bennie Chandler was on the market. I offered him 13M (2 more than he was asking) and was his favored offer for 2 days...before 4 teams (mine included) started a bidding war...I went up to 40M per for 3 years (by that time all the other decent SPs were gone...) around day 25 Bennie "Show me the Money" Chandler inked a record 48,190,000 deal for 4 years (total value = $192,760,000). Given his average of 34 starts a year Bennie makes about 1,400,000 per game. Given his average 220 innings per year he will collect roughly $73,000 per out. I've never wanted to be a text-based star pitcher so badly...
