I think the idea of four diffenent boards would be good. Sure, som people will still post in the wrong place, but the majority will probably be using the categories correctly.

I think it's mostly the "requests" that tie things up, so if you only want two mod boards, it should be one for requests and one for posting/announcing mods.

Personally, I have no problem with the way that the forum is or was prior to losing a bunch of our logo requests. Better organization may be called for but a separation will only create a new forum that is highly unorganized and a separate forum that would be highly under used. It stands to reason that if 90% of the traffic in this forum is for logos than only 10% of the traffic will remain to talk about utility mods if in fact a separation is to occur. This small percentage would primarily be questions and tech support as most of the threads already prove the case to be. |

I don't think 90% of the traffic in here is for logos.

My comments were in regards to the realization back on 7-15 that 9 out of 10 threads in this forum were logo requests. This was taken from the front page alone. The remaining threads were questions about Cato's History utility. Now the tides have turned since the logo requests seem to have been completely taken off the board. Now it seems that 90% of the traffic is here seeking solutions to the problems that they are running into with some of the utilities. This of course is not a bad thing but a realization that a separation might not really be needed.
If we look back at the number of threads over the past 3 months that have been started in this forum it very well may show that a large majority of them are in reference to logos. |

It seems to me that there is some flux over time between the "hot topics" of the mods board. I do think it needs more organization than just lumping it all together in here, though, even if it's just dividing graphics from other mods.

Actually it will work with AOL. I access every day from my AOL account, inside the client. Just thought I'd let you know.

Hmm. I tested it within AOL using the client and once I logged out, I couldn't log back in unless I used IE.

Sounds like it could be a cookie issue. I don't have in enabled to auto log me in so that may be the reason I'm not having the issue.
I attempted to replicate the problem by logging in - logging out - and logging back in and did not have any issue. What version of AOL are you using and what version of IE?
