If you purchased the game on Sunday you are still within the games return period and can have your cost refunded if you would like.

However once again you will have to contact Via Tech as We do not process any of the orders ourselves, our distributor does all of that for us and as a result we don't have the information available to be able to refund your money, in this situation you will have to contact Via Tech ( support@elicense.com ) to get your receipt or refund.

Hope this helps.

Dude, did you get your mommy to enter the numbers? I would ask her for help, seriously.

You can't seem to understand clear instructions. You may want to get your money back. I think this game is too hard for you. Seriously.

I hope you get things fixed.

I hate to think you are carrying a credit card and using it without parental supervision.

This guy doesnt want help. He will not say whether he has the e-license folder in control panel and still hasnt contacted Via-tech, but yet continues to complain.

Contact Via-tech and they will give you the number if you did actually buy the game. Why would you contact your credit card company, but not the company that can actually help you ?

ok ill contact them myself if thats what it takes to get a refund. in the future maybe you should look into this company and figure out why they arnt sending out the emails with the number and receit. i write my email address alll the time im sure i wrote the proper email address im always careful to concerning my email. the only reason why i need the number was because i had to restore my computer to a earlier time because i was having a problem with a program not closing. when i did this it brought me back to the point before i purchased the game. thats why i need the number now so i can open the game. when you first told me to contact viatech you just gave me a web site. i had no ideal on who to contact. just like with your game instructions your instructions arnt very good at all. it took me a bunch of emails just to get you to finally give me a email address i can write to in order to get some help. if there is a period to get a refund ill think about it. though i was interested in playing this game your lack of support and instructions concerning how to use the historical teams is a real turnoff. my advice to you is when people buy this game online first send them a reciet and number for the game. second privide better instructions like giving them the web site to go to to learn how to download historical teams. if you woukld have done these 2 simple things with me there never woukld of been a problem. but instead i had absolutly no ideal how to create historical teams and when i needed to use my number i never was sent it.

Holy crap you're in need of typing lessons.

btw, if you didn't notice, all the so called problems you've been having, were addressed many times in this post, as well as throughout the forums.

Here's a concept, READ. Another tip, press the "enter" key once in a while. Plus periods and commas are our friends.

I wouldn't bet on it happening, Falcon. Proper grammar and punctuation is a dying art for too many people these days, particularly for many members of the younger generation...

I am LMAO !!! This guy (rmilin11) is too funny. He's got to be doing this on purpose, right? I mean, no one can really be like that, can they? They can?? I had "no ideal" !!

When you wrote asking for a refund because you didn't feel there were instructions on the use of the historical database, and that you didn't feel we provided enough information on how or where to contact us looking for help I replied to your mail 8 minutes later with the following:

Quote:
Robert,

There are instructions in the manual on page 13 under the title Starting a new historical league.

You can download the manual here: http://www.ootp5.com/downloads.html

In addition there are details in our FAQ forum under "How to create a historical league": http://www.400softwarestudios.com/bo...threadid=30987

The OOTP5 website under Technical support has two email addresses and a link to the support forums: http://www.ootp5.com/support.php

Hope this helps.
When you then came back to us and said you needed your order ID to be sent to you we replied with instructions on just how you could get your receipt resent to you:

Quote:
Do you still have the eLicense Control button under your Control Panel? If so there should be an OOTP5 icon in the eLicense Control folder. If you right-click on the icon there should be a product recipt selection on the menu. Your order ID is on the product receipt.

The receipt would have been emailed to you automatically upon the completion of your purchase. Our sales are handled by our distributor, Via Tech (the eLicense people), so contacting Via Tech ( at support@eLicense.com ) is the only way you can get your receipt.txt resent to your email account. They should have no problems validating your purchase and resending you the receipt, they should also be able to confirm or correct the email address that may have resulted in the email being sent to the wrong address (resulting in your not having received it).

We do not process any of the orders ourselves, our distributor does all of that for us and as a result we don't have the information available to be able to resend it to you, in this situation you will have to contact Via Tech ( support@elicense.com ) to get your receipt resent to you, if you can't find it under eLicense control.

Hope this helps.
I even mentioned how and where you may be able find the receipt on your own computer right now (which you never responded) too. Finally when you complained and asked for your money back I responded with the information you needed to get your refund (which will obviously cause the Order ID to stop working)..

I'm just not sure what else I could have done to make your experience a better one, I answered each email we got, even answering one emailed request within 8 minutes, and providing the information requested each time. I'm just not sure what I could have done to have satisfied you. You're unwillingness to contact the proper people to get your receipt resent is really quite perplexing, as is the lack of a response to my question about the eLicense Control. I would think for all the complaining about not having an Order ID, that you would have jumped at the chance to get the receipt resent (or how to find it on your computer) and be up and running... unfortunately you've opted not to do that.

I really wish that we could have made this experience better for you, but I'm at a loss when I try to figure out what else we could have done.

This post needs to be closed, seriously, and the poster banned.

If he wanted a refund, or was serious in any intention, he would have acknowledged his PM's and answered the questions directed to him by the .400 Studios guys.

Doesn't really strike me as the type who could even own a credit card, but if he's not familiar with the English language or something, I could cut him more slack if he seemed genuinely interested in receiving help. But he doesn't, so I would get rid of this thread ASAP, before it only gets worse.

P.S. - I doubt he'd grasp the complexities of the game anyway, so the shoe fits.

You probably also want to get the three digit verification code on the back
