Some commish's might not want their owners to see the ratings, it will probably affect their own online league. This world cup is meant to enhance your experience with all aspects of OOTP5. I do not want the cup to get in the way of any league.

And also just wanted to mention this, the round robin will at least be 10 games long depending on the tournament size. And now that more teams have signed up, not all team will make the playoffs. The Round Robin games will be proven to be very important.

Decided, sicne that seeing the ratings probably wont be such a big deal, i will turn the scouting option to talent only so the online league will have one less reason not to join.

And since it's getting close, i think i should explain it in more details now. Each team will play 10 games of round robin games regardless of the number of entries. So you will not play every team in the tournament. The schedule will be made manually but random.

From what it seems now, there will be three groups, (divisions) and two pools (leagues). So there will also be one wild card spot for each pool as well to advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will consist of 3 rounds of best of 5 series. Every game on the schedule will be simmed on a real time basis, so there will most likely be a daily update on the site unless there's an off-day on the in game schedule. The reason for the daily sim is to have the tournament finished approximately within a month so that you guys can get back to your original leagues and "prepare" for the next cup scheduled to be in September or the Fall.

At the end of the cup I'll also choose a allstar team from the cup based on their performances in the tournament. There will not be a poll for this since it will just take way too long. But there will be a poll for the overall tournament mvp. The choices will be between the 2 BOY and the 2POY the computer automatically chooses.

I'll turn the ratings to talents only like i promised. And finaces will be off, trading will be off, scouting however will be on with average scouts to make even the talents unreal.

And One more thing: exports are welcome but not required, i dont expect exports everyday since we sim everyday practically. However if you want to send in one please do so by 3:00 pm EST. Thanx!

Here an easier way to pick your allstar team(well, kinda):

Back up your files first!!
Create a new team under edit league structure menu.
Edit the team name to *your league* Allstars and the other suff if you want.
Select "release->all->draft"
You will now be in the signing coaches period, sign the coaches if you want to be able to see the rating of the players.
Go to "league set up" and then under league optons go to "edit freeagents", now you will be able to see all the players from the whole league and their respective sortable data.
Now scroll to the allstar team and start picking your allstars.

Remember it's 25 man roster with DH and no minors.
Also remember to BACK UP your FILES before anything!!
