That sounds a lot closer to a reasonable number, it's possible my save had an odd circumstance that helped it go off the rails. For top 15 picks, in 2026 draft pretty much everyone signed. 2027 had number 1 and 2 not sign. 2028 then had 1, 3, and 11 not sign (with 1 more 1st round signing fail at Giants 24th overall). Out of these picks, 3 belonged to one franchise, White Sox. In 2029 draft they will have 3 1st round picks in top 30, and they probably won't be able to sign anyone over slot demand is my guess. AI probably needs to set more budget aside for draft picks in off-season, or change their initial offer when drafting to meet demand so they aren't just snowballing comp picks they can't sign and prioritize the early picks with their budget.

Or maybe I'm just presenting 'happy numbers' but that's at least how it looked in that simulation
Either way, there's bound to be some variance in the outcomes, and there's probably a reason for the developers to take a look at it, but I don't see any reason not to start a long-term save once the patch is officially released.

Mirror Link: MacOS Installer

As always, please report any issues you see.

Sorry for the rudimentary question, but will the AI changes take effect in a current save, or do I need to start a new one to see them?

Anecdotal observation, but it seems like I've been seeing a considerable reduction in the number of players being waived on the opening day roster cuts.

(a good thing, fwiw)

AI changes always apply to existing saves. The way to think about it is that the "saves" plug-in to the code, the code isn't siloed with the save.

So, it is only things that are specific to how a save starts out (like player ratings) that should require a new save to get the benefit of.

Here are my final standings and playoff tree. Shouldn't there of been a one game playoff? Houston won the series 7-6 if that matters. Also why the Mets over the Phillies without a one game playoff? Mets also won the head to head 7-6. Why no 1 game series guys?

It's been set up since 2022 when playoffs expanded to never be a game 163.

1. Head-to-head record
2. Intradivision Record
3. Intraleague Record
4. Last Half of Intraleague Games
5. Last Half of Intraleague Games Plus One

Then some other things for 3 and 4 team ties.

You can set in settings for there to be a tie breaker game if you want that instead. Under League Settings -> Options
