I’m going through mostly the NRI list and placing any that I’ve missed. I’m almost through the AL, then will review NL.
I’ve also updated a few player ratings/potentials. You guys had some good feedback on Sasaki so I’m going to review him (and specifically pitch mix).

Most teams players are reporting either today or tomorrow so we’ve had a few more free agents sign. Also have updated injury news….I’ve updated those. Some injuries are ambiguous so I’ve done my best to predict how long player will potentially be out.

Plan will be to release this version probably sometime tomorrow.

THEN I’ll (probably) start my season

I’ve updated some owner personalities to try and best reflect reality.

For instance Seattle Mariners owner John Stanton has had one of the most profitable teams the past few years - so his focus is profits

Robert Nutting of Pittsburgh doesn’t spend money at all so spending is “penny pincher”

Same for Cleveland, small market doesn’t spend money

These are not all of them just a few examples.

Ok dudes….plan for Wednesday release of this update.

It’s a MASSIVE one getting all of the NRI’s on correct teams to get that true Spring Training feel with a bajillion players in camp. Quite a few had retired after the 2024 season so had to unretire them and place on correct teams.

Nearing the finish line gang…!

One oddity…..due to some of the players coming over from independent leagues to minor leagues their “prospect ranking” from independent leagues have carried over to MLB somehow. Long story short, there are around 10 or so players ranked in the MLB top 100 Pipeline that are NOT legitimate prospects. I’ve tried multiple things to recalculate, re-rank…AND they are still there :/

My assumption is when the game re-ranks prospects before the season starts it will kick them off list.

I’ll list them below soon before posting file.

Huge updates:
- All NRI’s (with exception of about 2-3 players that did not exist in database)
- Updates to Roki Sasaki
- Transactions as of early am 2-19-25

I was able to sneak in the Lucas Sims signing by Washington. Terms not announced yet, so I just put 3M for 1 year.

REMEMBER to set all teams to all AI changes after you select your team!
Also check settings such as trading, etc to adjust as you like.

Yeah more than likely last update for 2025. I’ve got us to Spring Training with as accurate rosters as possible along the way with free agent signings, updates, ratings, injuries, Top 30 prospects each team et al.

I’ll probably (finally) start my own season.

It may be a complete outlier, but Ive ran the 2025 season 2 times and the pirates won the WS, and so did the Rockies. Dodgers also finished under .500 one time. I downloaded your other mods and they were perfect so I'm wondering if you have had weird results also or if it is a coincidence. I appreciate your hard work!

EH. I’d assume both Those as outliers.

Pittsburgh has some fun young gun arms, but offense is lacking.

Rockies well..well they have Doyle in CF and some young interesting prospects like Dollander and Condon who could be impact players.
I’d assume anyone outside of the White Sox COULD in theory win it.
