MajorSimBaseball: A Journey Beyond the Game

Name: Its about the baseball stupid _ 512.jpg
Views: 86
Size: 95.0 KB

It's About the Baseball, Stupid!

Friends of the game,

I’m thrilled to share with you what I hope will be the journey of a lifetime—(well, another journey of a lifetime ) a journey that has come full circle for me. I’ve loved the game of baseball for as long as I can remember, and now I’m diving deeper than ever. To me, baseball is more than a game. It’s a tapestry of moments, shared memories, and timeless connections. For those who truly understand it, the game transcends the players, the teams, and even the stadiums. It gives us moments that “mark the time,” creating a story far larger than any scoreboard.

With MajorSimBaseball, I’ll be focusing on just that—the moments, the matchups, and the journey that bring the game to life. I’ll be calling games, recording my thoughts, and sharing the flavor of each team, not just as a set of ratings, but as something unique, something personal. I’m staying true to my motto: “It’s about the baseball, stupid!”

My plan is simple but thorough:

1. Game-by-Game Updates: In the early days, I’ll focus closely on individual games, giving you the blow-by-blow and the thrill of the action as if you were in the stands.
2. Series Stories: As the season picks up, I’ll start sharing insights about each series, creating a larger picture of the league’s narrative as rivalries heat up and players chase milestones.
3. Week-to-Week Highlights: Later in the season, I’ll capture the broader story week by week, as pennant races, league standings, and playoff implications come into view.

Each team is shaped with a distinct flavor, and I’m playing the NimBLe way, bringing a fair and competitive balance that lets every matchup tell its own story. It’s a tribute to the baseball I love and the game we all share. I look forward to sharing this journey with you all on this forum—game by game, series by series, week by week.

Stay tuned, and let’s play ball!

—Big Earl F., MajorSimBaseball
