I've played a ton of The Show, and this year is perhaps its best release, but I can't imagine playing The Show for the management and simulation aspects - and surely no one is playing OOTP because they feel like living the life of a pro level 2nd basemen.

Combing the strengths from both in one game would be the best thing ever. I'd buy a new version every year and probably lose my job.

Right. I honestly only play The Show now for RTTS. The sim engine is stuck in 2006.

Here we go again. This happens every single year. It is comparing apples to oranges. Not the same genre of computer games. The only thing in common is that it's sports and baseball. Vastly different way of portraying it. And I can play any season I wish. For no extra money, either.
