On import, the ratings tend to get shifted towards average slightly, so you might need to push up the modifiers slightly to correct.

Thank you.

I have done this, starting at the AS break.

Out of the box, fictional league, strikeouts are way too low for relievers.

OOTP chart is Year 7 of an out of the box fictional MLB 30 teams, no changes to league totals or PCMs. Relievers identified as pitchers with 20+ innings and 4 or less starts. MLB is from Stathead, 2021 - 2023 relief seasons (20+ IP, 80% relief appearances).

OOTP sim has 28 relievers (out of 261) with greater than 9 K/9. MLB had 495 relievers (out of 918) with greater than 9 K/9.

I know you can just increase strikeouts in the modifiers, but the chart for Starting Pitchers in same OOTP sim is very similar to relief pitchers as far as K/9. There doesn't appear to be enough of a gap between relievers K/9 rates and starters. I had mentioned this in another thread about a lack of relievers with "superior" stuff.

Here is the SP MLB Data (20+ innings, 60% starts). While at the median there only about 1K per 9 difference at the upper end is where there is a greater difference (e.g., SP at 10% of set K/9 is 10.6, the RP is at 12.0, and then accelerates from there). Worry is that simply increasing K's won't solve for more dominant relievers, rather more dominant pitchers overall.

Generally my thought is that there aren't enough players on the far end of a distribution curve in this year's game. I don't have thousands of seasons to go by, but I do run a lot of 20 yer sims as I mess around with various totals and modifiers to get a feeling that the outliers are far fewer in this version than in prior versions.
