I am not sure a player that got Cy Young votes three times and pitched to a sub-3 ERA in a qualifying season once in his career is a good example for this.

There was an issue I I think 22 where college players behind the scenes developed too quickly and emerged as often full developed at 23. I think they might even have patched that out but the patch didn’t affect players who’d already developed, and depending on how long you take to run your league you might still have leftovers from that.

Even if everyone is, it would be nice to have a knob in the settings that would put development back where it was around OOTP 20 or 21 or so. The last two versions have been nuts. OOTP 22 got to tolerable by the last few revisions. OOTP 23 has just been beyond overboard. It ruins the experience.

I've bought the game on release day for years because I believe in supporting its development. (And we all know that means paying to be beta testers.) This is the first year I'm not doing it. It needs fixed.

Scouts IRL never go that far out on a limb to begin with. It’s a very pleasant surprise when a team gets anything over the grade of 65…which is the absolute max any RL scout would ever rate a player. Most of the very good talent is rated 55 with 60 being excellent. 65 would be an elite grade. Scouts will give out a 7 or 80 once a player has developed and proven themselves, but not usually not before.

This is my favorite day in February as it is my least favorite month of the year. Cannot wait for March 21st!! With my love of Baseball and all things OOTP, Spring truly is my favorite season!!

I have not found one that I use on an annual basis. The only ones I consider are Action! PC, Stratomatic and one I like that is called Pro League Football or something similar to that. I used to enjoy Front Office Football a decade ago but it lacks too much. Like others I really want an NFL game similar to OOTPB.

It's a college game, but I've been hearing good things about Football Coach, College Dynasty. It's sold on Steam and I think it's reasonably priced.

I haven’t seen this. There are some excellent prospects. They rarely pan out, and hardly ever right away. So far as I can tell, OOTP mirrors IRL. In managing a farm system, you are well-advised to bring prospects along slowly. Do not confuse potential with current ability.

Add Second and Ten Football to the list. Also, there is a guy moving Lance Haffner 3 in 1 Football (and his basketball and baseball games) to Windows.
