Whoops! Looks like I forgot to update that when I added the "border" around the text. This will be fixed in the next release.

v0.2.2-beta has been released!

This release contains the following new features:
  • Custom fonts will now reload more or less properly. There seems to be an occasional issue with the text spacing I haven't figured out yet but you can manually readjust that.

The following has been fixed:
  • The "Flip Bottom Text" button works again

Well, you say that, but then I realize I didn't do much QC on that release. I'm creating new installer now but I have to wait for github to resolve some issues. :/

Vesion 0.3.0 has been released!

What's New
  • You can now drag and drop images and fonts directly into the app.
  • The app now has local font storage, so fonts added will automatically be available every time you open the app.
  • Fonts manually copied into the local font folder will automatically import into the app if it's open.
  • The baseline for center ice text can be adjusted to move the text closer to or farther away from the circle.
  • Each of the center ice text elements can now be individually styled - different colors, different font sizes, different spacing, different baselines, etc. At this time, they still both have the same font.
  • The font menu has been changed to be more consistent with the newer styles already in use by the OOTP Uniform Maker & Logo Maker.
  • Bumped Electron version to 27.1.0.
  • Certain events (loading, saving, etc.) can now be accessed via the app's menus.
  • Converted all GET & POST calls to IPC & removed express dependency.

What size should the logos be to put them on the ice? The ones I am using are pixilated so thought I would ask.

Those get generated automatically when you save a rink.

I guess when in doubt go bigger? I use the 300x300 logos and they seem to pixalate like you are saying. Using something bigger than that would be where I start? How big are the images you are using?

At full resolution the diameter of the center ice circle is approximately 400 pixels, and "ad" boxes 1 through 4 are roughly 260x120, and boxes 5 through 8 are roughly 90x250.

You'd definitely be best off starting with the highest resolution images you can get. The fabric.js library doesn't do a fantastic job scaling images, especially upscaling them

  • Support for BMP, GIF, TIFF, SVG, WEBP, HEIC, HEIF, and PSD image formats has been added. Note that PSD images may not always work properly.
  • Electron has been bumped to 33.1.0.

Downloaded and installed but I get this error message on startup. Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, get the same thing. On a side note, I love this program. Makes making the rinks for my league so much easier, so thank you
