Yes, we load ogg files first, and then wav files, skipping any with the same names.

I have to admit, that guy annoys me a bit and is a big part of why when I play out games I leave the sound turned off. A few versons ago I used to play through all of my league's games from the 7th inning forward and repeated stuff like that really does begin to grind.

If you don't like it, you can delete the sound files (I think he's boo_heavy1) and it won't play. Although we may replace the file every patch, so you might have to remember to do that every time.

Ever since they made it possible to use the ball flight without sound I have always played with the sound off anyway. Usually have it on music, game on the TV or listening to my 2 year old daughter babble about something.

If you download my file he's edited out of it, just replace it with the download.

And I guess keep it elsewhere for when the patches replace it to copy over again.

On the subject of sound I'm not sure it's commonly known but if you put a short music clip in the sounds folder (about 4-5 secs max) saved with the player's name it will play it when they are at bat. If you're playing one pitch mode though then it's likely to still be playing as he's heading for first!
