Game locks up - no error - Page 2

Hey fellas...After my game locked up again last night I waited 2 minutes, clicked on broadcast tab, then back to 3d view. That worked to "unlock" it...not sure if others have experienced the same? Had 3d and sound enabled. Its not every game, and what causes it seems random. Typically its been in the middle of a game (innings 4-6, but no other commonalities I am aware of. If it occurs again, I'll see what the out/event is to see if we have any patterns emerge...). Also...I'm on a Mac.

Thanks for the tip. I swore I tried clicking on everything but will try this next time it happens!

Just tested it again and within the first inning the bug happened again. Game's just frozen on my Windows laptop -- I can't switch to broadcast or anything.

It's not using 100% of my CPU, but it's still the most intensive task on my computer. I think that's normal while in a game though.

I've gotta give this game a break for a while.

Same thing is happening to me since the last patch. Played through 1 game fine, second game froze in the 1st inning (with bases loaded and no one out, no less)...by freeze I mean complete freeze. When I try to click the screen goes grey and I get the spinning circle. Doesn't fix itself.

Tried again today, and couldn't even get out of the first game, made it 3 innings before the same thing happened.

It is happening when I just click space bar to advance to the next AB.

Playing in 3D view.

Add me to the list of 3D mode freezing while playing. Both times it was at the end of a play and hitting space bar to get the next play ready. Sound still works but nothing else. End up Force Quitting.

I have been crashing since this was released and even more now since the last patch. Of course I am winning when it happens, does that count as a trigger? lol. Really upsetting to be up 10 to 2 in the 6th when you freeze only to come back start the game over and give up 6 in the 1st. AHHHH!!!!

Playing in 3D on a PC, Win 7 all drivers up to date. Sound disabled. I crash at least once every 3-5 games. Never the same set of circumstances twice. Just likes to freeze and "not responding".

In my 100+ hours of OOTP16 I never crashed a single time.

3D mode seems to be the culprit.

I've had a couple of hiccups where it freezes and then everything flies through real quick. Also have had a few 'not responding' freezes.

Pretty frustrating playing every game out and then I lose everything since my last backup.

Count me in on this. It has happened twice. CPU was cranking at a very high percentage. Sorry I don't have more details, but my experience is similar to the OP and the others, as in 3D mode, etc...
