The budget calculations on the trade screen need to be looked into.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

I like this too. SOM had this for years.
While we are at it, once more my annual plea for a split between AI and human control of batting lineups and pitchiing staff. Would like to setup one and let the AI take care of the other. As it is, the two are either AI or human for both. I love pitching, batting not so much. Let me control the staff and its depth and let the AI take care of the lineups.

Also, AGAIN, AI BULLPEN WARMUPS

1. weekly standing snapshot, i would like to be able to easily go back and see how the standing have evolved over a season (week 1 vs. wk 2 vs. wk 10 and on and on). if it can be done now i have not figured it out.

2. and while it is most likely to much for an update, the schedule screen sucks for a single league league. i have to scroll down half-way to hell to see all the games while over 2/3 of the schedule screen is blank. the game finally looks good again but this really kills the immersion factor.

standings screen as well

Curt Schilling had suggested keeping track of all time monthly leaders. HR, Hits, Wins etc.
Ability to play out ASG while not in Commish Mode.
And maybe not available for an update but I will throw it out there anyway. Lock Owners where they do not sell teams or die.

Career Earnings in the player profile page (including a year by year chart showing what they made and for which teams paid them)

Maybe if he adds everyone's requests to the game, it'll increase his sales enough that he can!

Please fix it so that selecting line-ups defaults to only hitters and pitching shows only pitchers.

Also, when moving players in a line-up on the 7 day line-up screen, they should not lose their positions, unless someone else is assigned their position.

very small add: add the possibility to open player card when on real time simulation page. Open the card for the now batter and now pitcher during game simulation.

Thx

You could do it by using the Almanac. Of course you might have to run it more often, but it is an option.

I'm just curious, but how does having to use a scroll bar "kill" the immersion factor of this game?

Woah ask for suggestions is always dangerous!

Two things I've noticed that I would love

When sorting through a draft pool or a player search, it would be great if you could easily skip to pages or letters.

For example, you have an inaugural draft. You could have 500 pages of players realistically. You waste so much time scrolling just to get to the M's lets say.

Second, drafting with your scout. People will always use this feature, but I wish you could set a draft strategy with your scout.

So for example, lets say I am building a young team, maybe my draft lists only consists of players who fit a certain criteria.

Or for the amateur draft if I am heavy on OF or P, I can make sure my scout does not rank those positions higher than maybe a 2B that I'd need more.

Add back the height and weight to the in-game player profile, and add won-loss records for teams in the boxscores and (Games Played that day summary)

I'd love to see the ability to queue up scouting assignments. Any league that does a sim longer than a couple of days loses out on scouting opportunities.

Take the draft for example. I'm in an online league that runs 10 day sims. Eligible draft players are announced the last week of March and our amatuer draft is happens on June 1st. For this last draft there were 67 days between the announcement and the draft. With 10 day sims that allows us to scout 6 players for the draft. If we were able to queue up scouting though, assuming the scout gets each report done in 3 days that would allow us to scout 22 players for the draft which would be a huge improvement.

Here's to hoping this might make it in for one of the patches this year or possibly for OOTP14 if it's a coding nightmare.

Thanks for the awesome game Markus and all you do to improve it!

One thing I've been wanting to ask for and keep forgetting is for a screen for us to set criteria for players who are waived from other teams or players who are put on the trading block.

So let's say I specify any player between 21-30 who's overall or potential rating (as determined by my scout) is 40 (whatever scale you use) or greater. Any time that criteria is met, I would get a news item with a list of those players once a team has put them on waivers or on the trading block.

I don't want to have to check that every single day, only when the players I'm looking for become available.

This is a great suggestion.

How about improving "random debut" with some of the many items mentioned previously?

I can't answer that, but If I had to look at that much blank screen, I cans see how it can happen.

Why not format those screens according to number of sub-leagues and resolution? If Markus can do it for the In-game screens, he should be able to do it for the schedule and standings too.
