I can hardly wait to see what else there will be like what all the other arrows pull down to.
I'm with you on this. I love, love, LOVE the vertical panes.

Right. I was only taking the "what they do" part to the point that they open another window or something. But no, even the placement part might be a bit of a surprise to us. I had no doubt that Aurelio (Aurelios? I'm sorry, I forget) made the icons, decided the colours, even decided the dimensions of all the graphics, but I would be a bit surprised to learn that he say, codes the part that tells the game where to put all the graphics, how to make the drop-downs appear, etc. Then again, if it's anything like making a website then that kind of code takes very little time to do. It's stuff like algorithms that probably take a lot of time to think about and then code just right.

Looks great, wondering though would it be possible to mod the manager screen so that the trophy picture is the actual world series trophy( I know it's a small thing, but seeing that trophy is a motivator)

Probably like real player names, there's some copyright on the real trophy. Nothing stopping people from putting their own trophy image in the game though. Plus, not everyone plays real teams/leagues, so the real trophy might not be for everyone.

I finally feel like the spreadsheet with colors look is gone. Having 1000s of links was "nice" but it often prompted me to not check them as it was just overwhelming. However this interface feels more inviting. Call me crazy, but I'm excited!

THAT is one of the biggest things I have missed since v 6.5! So glad you brought back the vertical team menu thing that I loved between stb2k3 through ootp6.5.

I do as well.

But I am wondering if the OOTP X skin will still be there. I absolutely love the X skin. As a graphic artist myself, it really captures my style. So if at all possible, keep the X skin!

I always wanted to try my hand at helping the skin design team. I would be up for it for OOTP 13. By that time, my summers should be free to do a lot of free lance work.

Looks good. Dare I say the learning curve may be improved by interface changes alone.

Looks good but I'm not shelling out $40 for a new look. I'll stick with 10 for awhile I mean it's not even a year old yet geez.

Before you decide on that, check out this post which talks about a few of the new features:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post2897384

Until you see the complete package, you may want to reserve judgement.

I am sure it isn't just a visual makeover that you will get with OOTP11

Like almost everyone else, I approve. I like the color scheme and extra information packed into one screen.
