I sent an email to Andreas yesterday asking for a brief progress report, but no reply yet. He is a busy guy though, and will, no doubt, get back to us very soon. Unless something else comes up to delay him. Which can happen. It is September after all. Busy time. School for his kids, I guess. Work on OOTP patches. Grocery shopping. Paint the doghouse. Fix that sink trap. Trim the hedge. Busy time.
Yes sir. Busy time. Cap

Yes sir. Busy time. I have no doubt he is very busy, as most of us are with out jobs and families and other responsibilities. However, it doesnt take but a few minutes to respond to an e-mail. |

I wish that I knew what the future holds for TBCB but I just do not. I sent Andreas a PM as well - hopefully, he can pop down and just let everyone know what is or isn't on his mind.

It is a shame everyone is being left out in the cold .This is a great game and can even be a better one with a little more TLC .
What also makes this game outstanding is the forum and the wealth of knowledge from all within it |

Hey guys, I'm still here
![]() I'm still looking for a programmer who would help me with some great TBCB ideas. Unfortunately they either cannot code or they already have a job. I'm working 100% on OOTP all the time at the moment. Sorry guys

According to recent statistics there are roughly 36 million unemployed in the West. Hard to believe there isn't even one person around able to code Title Bout. Cap

I guess it is going to be a very long time .OOTP has a lot wrong with it and is not a very good historical replay game .You cant even play a ALL STAR game .Historical stats way off ..good luck

Kind of sounds pretty bleak for TBCB, he didn't find time (or someone) to work on our game during his down-time from OOTP again this time.
![]() It seems to me we have what we have...where have all the Trunzo's gone

Well it's not the answer we wanted to hear, but at least he finally acknowledged we exist. Hopefully one day he'll find time, or a person who can code and get the boxing game to where it can be even better. But like previously posted, most likely it seems this is the game we are going to live with. Shame cause as great as it is, if the minor issues could be fixed it would be even better. |

Well, me boyos, if Andreas can't find someone to code the game in the present conditions of high unemployment, then he ain't going to find someone, period. That seems to mean Title Bout is now an afterthought for OOTP. Wonder if they are shopping it around to some other gormless bunch of tech wallies. You'd think there'd be someone in North America who would be interested. Maybe Andreas should get in touch with Dave Koch of DK Sports Games and see if he might be a willing partner.....

Dave Koch does have a good football game. I have a league using his game that is starts season #10 next week.
All of that said, TB Boxing is the best text simulation out there.

I think the biggest issue is the coder needs to live on Andreas' side of the pond. You are right, there are probably plenty of people in north America available, but you have to remember the problems the Trunzos had using an abstentia programmer. There was a lot lost in terms of communication and they were unable to be hands on soto speak because they snail mailed updates back and forth at the time. Even though technology has improved and communication and file exchanges would be improved, I don't fault Andreas for wanting someone he can communicate with face ti face as needed.
The final thing is, Andreas paid to take over this title, I am pretty sure at some point he wants a greater return on his investment than he has received, so he (or someone he hires) will be working on fixes and new ideas at some point. In the meantime the Fighter updates and little things like continuing to build the commentary database will have to suffice and can still keep the game fresh, despite some of the existing issues with strategies, cuts, etc. |

I'd actually like to see Adam Ryland get on board with boxing. He seems to be much more interested in pro wrestling and MMA but man... TCBC with a Total Extreme Warfare kind of take on promotions, titles, and so on would be fantastic.
