But then, he went back and edited a title onto it. So I was wrong about being wrong—which made me wrong three times in the space of two posts.

So, mine have other posts that bite 'em, proceeding on ad infinitum.

By preordering, you already got your license code, which is actually what you pay for. That's the reason the card is charged. There is no other way to handle this with the license systems we use, sorry.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Pre order OOTP 10

Markus,

Thank you for the explanation.
I look forward to OOTP 10.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but when I charge a pre-order to my card I would like the transaction to go through as soon as possible. I'm probably different than everyone else in that I haven't been out of college for too long and still need to watch the funds in my account. I'd hate to be overdrawn because I got a surprise charge for something.

conception has a good point, but on the other hand there's always the little voice in the back of my head saying, "What if they bill me for it, then go out of business?"

When I order things via debit card, I subtract the amount from my account immediately, even if it won't be deducted from the account until weeks or months later. If it never does get deducted (which has happened twice in six years), it's like 'found money'; a nice surprise.

This is one of a ton of reasons why you should use American Express. If that - or virtually anything else - happens, they cover you.

I understand the concern. I find it easier to trust the non-corporate nature of Markus, considering he can't exactly afford to not produce the game, as well as the fact that I trust once pre-orders are opened up, there is some certainty that a new version is going to be completed.
