(Btw edm thanks for the help here, I did not know you can create players in the free agent screen).

Mittal, once you have all the players created, select release all players and hold inaugural draft again, under league setup -> functions.

I get some good young players, but they're "fully formed"... I.e., I don't seem to be getting any 1 star/5 star types.

...and, of course, none of this eliminates the fact the "Template" still doesn't work as it did previously or as it is documented.

I think it remains a bug that needs to be fixed.

another way to get prospect in the minor leagues is just sim 20 years for history before you play.

also be sure to do fictional contract for the major league in league setup too.

by only beef so far is the market size on all the major league teams. Small market for teams like Los angeles and NY.

I know the market size goes based on payroll. I wish ootp will do a better job with market size by going with population and city location like in real life.

I set the first draft for March 26th.. which helped somewhat on getting talent into the league right away.

Better, because with scouts turned off you get real data and not guesses.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
