Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and... Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten? Nigel Tufnel: Exactly. Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder? Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where? Marty DiBergi: I don't know. Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do? Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven. Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder. Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder? Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

This was an old feature from 6.5. The basic scale is 1-100, but sometimes players would be astronomical, and they would be rated over 100. Typically, the game would just consider these all as "100s", but there was an option to display the actual 100+ numerical value.

Outstanding additions! Thank you Markus
<O </O![]() Just a couple of questions: <O </O It's probably self-explanatory, but what precisely will we be able to edit with the Nation Editor? Is it just for editing simple things, like a nation's flag & population statistics, or will we be able to do more advanced editing, like assigning specific name sets to a nation without having to edit the corresponding txt files? <O </O Also, will the editor allow us to create new nations, or to simply edit existing ones?<O </O Thanks!

I have never yet (five tries) had a game start without good free agents available. My problem was that the AI teams allowed me to pick up all the good FAs for free (often for minor league contracts).

For those of you excited about the stats importer/exporter you are all very welcome. I have badgered, nagged and harrassed Markus for 6-7 months on this one and we finally figured out the best way to go about making it happen.

That's pretty neat. There were lots of nations last time around with a "Baseball Quality" rating of "Non-Existent" when that actually isn't true. Now I have the power to fix such errors
![]() What would be even neater would be if over time, when you put a baseball league in a country, if that country's "Baseball Quality" rating increased. |
