Whoa, someone picked the Bruins to win the East!

And I'm surprised that he's the only one other than me to put him in the playoffs. I must say I doubted him very much when he sent me his list. But, still, I think the boldest prediction is CC putting Anaheim right in front of Chicago - it's weird to compare to your predictions, putting Anaheim first and Chicago last.

Yeah, that is a bold move on his part. I won't put much stock in my own predictions about the West, though: I know a lot less about that conference. Picking the Avs above the Flames is probably not too bright.

Maybe, it's the homer in me, but i'm kinda suprised the blackhawks are so low. I don't think they're exactly a playoff team, but i think they are significantly better team than they were last year. And their performance in the preseason (7-1) i think shows that. If Nikolai Khabibulin can remember how to play goal, they may have a suprising season.

They're pretty loaded on goalies, with Lalime and Boucher also in the fold. However, when you have 4 decent attackers and only one decent defenseman... you're in trouble.

The only other awful teams in the West are the Blues (they have a great defense... they just can't score), the Coyotes (similar to the Hawks, but just a notch higher at everything) and the Kings (who have more depth in front than any of the teams I just named). In any case, time will tell .

I'm suprised I'm the only one who picked the Sharks to win the West.

I'm surprised I'm the only one who picked Atlanta to win the division, okay well maybe not so much, I had a very stressful day on Wednesday, though I guess I'm not too far off from lln, as long as he doesn't think Boston will actually be third best team in the conference.

Actually, he must think they're going to be 3rd in points or something. He has Buffalo 1st and Boston 3rd even though they're in the same division. So his ranking actually can't happen. But maybe he's just trying to hedge his bets and minimize how far off his predictions could be.

Hmmm, I didn't think Boston was in Buffalo's division. Check that, they are. I am having major brain cramps at work this week.

Second option, obviously. I couldn't figure which team would win the Hurricanes' division, so instead of risking putting one of them third and see them finishing 9th, well, I tried to do an impossible ranking.

Same here - For the first three weeks I destroyed my pool with a 1.2 PPG rate, and now I'm in 6th place out of 11. Ouch. Bertuzzi's absence hurts me. That, and Nash not doing too well.

ya for mine I totallyu bombed in the goalie section. Huet's 50-50 play isn't helping, and I so missed out on Miller and Luongo.

You picked Huet istead of the best goalie in the league and the one playing for the best team in the league? Oh man, you deserve to lose!
