Bah, everyone still has problems with the way they want to play. I know half the stuff I wanted to do in 6.5 didn't work at all.

And the point is that the one way no one should *ever* have a problem trying to play is the MLB way.

Hey like I said, I fully support the idea, it would be great for fictional play as well. I just was a bit bothered by the demeaning of people who don't play a MLB format. Heck, I wouldn't buy OOTP if that was what I'm limited to. It's why I haven't bought many other text sims out there, they're just not flexible enough for me.

Exactly. The game is never going to be "perfect" for any style of play. There will always be things that would improve the game or be extremely nice to have. In the end, it is Markus who decides what will be implemented and when. Making requests are part of the territory, but individual consumers demanding certain things is going to bring nothing but bickering & trouble for Markus because everybody plays this game differently. This isn't a game that focuses on one specific "angle" of the baseball simulation market...it allows the user to play them all. The fictional, historical, and MLB simulators...none of them and all of them are the priority. Markus has a lot of people wanting lots of different things. Those that are demanding just what they want without understanding that there are other parts of the game that need Markus' attention are causing this place to become a very tiresome place to be.

I guess we have expansion too then since we can add teams and just have them sign FAs.

I'd love to see Expansion. Its very difficult to do it now. I would take it over a lot of new features. With the ability to have so many teams, i thought it would be given that that feature would make it in.

I was unaware that there would be a draft with contraction. I'm glad you were nice enough to taunt instead of teach.
