Neither of these guys was as good as Koufax - their home parks inflated their numbers to begin with.

Koufax played in Dodger stadium, one of the best pitcher parks in the NL at the time. That didn't help his numbers out at all?

Not really sure why Silcox is getting more vote than Dietrich since Dietrich is a hair better, the two played in the exact era and played in the exact same posistion in the same league for most of their careers.

I really do wonder about the baseball apptitude of some people around here.

And you're an unbiased evaluator of Rudel Dietrich?

Quite easily. Silcox had an incredible peak and led his team to two World Series and played on 5. Rudel led his team to none and playe din none. Silcox was a 3 time BOY, Rudel none.

Silcox had more hits, triples, homers, RBI and runs. He had 3 GG and 10 AS opposed to Dietrich's 1 and 8. They have virtually identical XR and WS, but Silcox had a better peak and had an impact on pennants.

Also, we never got any explanation for Deitrich's retirement. Without knowing why he left early, I can't judge him. So I have to assume the worst, especially when it comes to HOF voting.

Yeah, and I edited that in, but you can only really say he led them to two of them. For the last three, he was in decline.
