Lager League - Milling Series: Game 3 -#1 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot (106-56, 8th post season) vs #4WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy (82-82, 6th post season) Looking to stave off a humiliating sweep by a team that was under .500 at the end of the regular season, and only achieved an even record thanks to wins in games 163 and 164; Weyerbacher sent Ryan Mullen to the mound to try and prolong their season. Mullen would toss 5.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts before turning the game over to the bullpen. Amine Brisset, Danny Martinez, and Bobby Martinez would handle the last 3.2 innings, giving up just 2 hits among them and no runs; as the Blithering Idiot claimed a 3-2 lead to avoid the sweep and cut the series deficit to 2-1 |

Lager League - Milling Series: Game 3
-#3 Texas Leaguer Chin Music (89-73, 2nd post season) vs #2WC Mispillion River Space Otters (84-78, 1st post season) After dropping the first two games at home, Texas Leaguer hoped the road would be more forgiving and present them a win to prolong their season. It would take extra frames to decide the outcome, and when the dust settled, the Chin Music would emerge with a 3-2 victory to cut their series deficit to 2 games to 1 |

Lager League - Milling Series: Game 4
-#1 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot (106-56, 8th post season) vs #4WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy (82-82, 6th post season) While not the outing Weyerbacher had hoped for from their starter, Troy Daniel didn't give up any runs in his 3.2 innings of work, with 5 hits allowed, no walks and 3 strikeouts. He was pulled in the 4th inning as Amine Brisset came in to cover the next 2.1 innings (no hits, no runs). Danny Martinez would cover the 7th with goose eggs across his line-score; and closer Bill Mora would pick up the 2 inning save, as the Blithering Idiot evened the series at 2 games apiece with a 2-0 victory. |

Lager League - Milling Series: Game 4
-#2 Sierra Nevada Narwhals (99-63, 3rd post season) vs #3WC Firefly Hollow Dire Chinchilla (83-79, 3rd post season) It was a pitcher's duel in game 4, as Sierra Nevada starter Steve Garmoe (6 innings, 4 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts) went pitch-for-pitch against Firefly Hollow starter Andy Tiell (6 innings, 6 hits, 1 run, 2 walks, 2 strikeouts); before each turned things over to their bullpens. Narwhal reliever Rich Roth would toss 1 inning, giving up 1 hit and no runs; while Dire Chinchilla reliever Danny Ewing went one better and gave up no hits in his inning of relief. Sierra Nevada closer Brad Cohn would cover the 8th and 9th, giving up no hits, no runs, no walks and 1 strikeout. On the flip side, Firefly Hollow closer David Hill covered the 8th and 9th as well. Unfortunately for his club, he would surrender the game winning run in the top of the 9th, as Sierra Nevada claimed a 2-1 win and a 3 games to 1 series victory. |

Lager League - Milling Series: Game 5
-#1 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot (106-56, 8th post season) vs #4WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy (82-82, 6th post season) In what turned out to be the ultimate road warrior series, Horsefly jumped out to a 2 games to none lead winning the first 2 games on the road; only to lose both games at home as Weyerbacher tied up the series at 2 games each. Game 5 followed the same pattern, though it took extra innings to determine the outcome. When the dust settled, Horsefly emerged with the upset victory, taking game 5 by a score of 6-2 to advance to the Mashing Series. |
