Even with 2 surprise promotions (Cincinnati to Perfect, Bluffton to Silver), everyone made it into an OL league this season!!! Great work everyone.

Hey Stanley: I want to change the name of one of my non-OL teams. Do you think you could dig up a logo with an alpaca on it?

I really missed the boat with this team - They are a packs-only team and they're called the Llamas. I just realized last week I should have named them the "al-PACK-as"!

Or is that too subtle?

Anyway, I need a new logo!

WOW. First time I've ever been a division *full* of OL teams. And every game on Harlem's schedule in April is OL!

In stark contrast (well, it *is* Iron League) OL games for Stephensville will be few and far between.

Bronze OL games breakdown. The AC East and Central teams lead the way as there are 4 OL teams in the East and 3 in the central. Overall there will be 642 OL games this week.

I'll add the OL tags to Steelport at some point today. Very tedious to change stuff because it takes almost 30 mins to get to that screen (I have like 5,000+ custom logos so it has to read all of them)

For all you stat keepers out there-have you ever seen the schedule change? My previous post is no longer accurate. San Pedro opened vs New Zealand, when the league was formed this morning I was to open vs Amarillo. I went through the other OL teams who had games in March and its all off.

yep, seems like it does that every time.... don't think the real schedule is actually in place until the first sim of the day

I had some time this morning so I thought I'd get a jump, I've never complied that early before and won't again... that's an hour of my life I wont get back

The Victoria Vikings capped off their first season in Diamond by winning 108 games and the Diamond Series. A far cry from the 8 playoff appearances and diamond pips of the Cowboys.

The only changes I made were to swap 3 right-handed hitters for 2 lefties and a switch, making an all-lefty (and a couple switch) lineup. And then adjust the park to an all-lefty park.

As I suspected, the all-lefty setup is effective to the point of being overpowered. It's too good on both offense and defense. The only real counter to it is a full suite of lefty pitching, and that would struggle against most regular teams.

Looking at the four remaining Iron OL teams and their schedules...I've concluded that we need more Iron teams. This does not take into account games that have already been played.

Steelport: 0 (Yes, you read that right. ZERO)

Gotham: 26 (9 vs Stephensville, 10 @ Stephensville, 4 vs Mudville, 3 @ Mudville)
Mudville: 14 (3 vs Stephensville, 4 @ Stephensville, 3 vs Gotham, 4 @ Gotham)

Yes, I didn't know that either. My previous post about an all-April OL schedule no longer holds true...though it's really close.

just need to get 'em all over the playoff hump and into Bronze....

had to check the tracking sheet to make sure, but my bunch had a similar season in 2029 (no OL games in Gold league... and only 6 the season before... as there were only a few OL teams at that level)

The Bears would never get over the hump if they had to play Gotham all the time. Got swept by them to open the season, and it wasn’t even close.
