While their batting is less than the top ranked they are used to in the past, their pitching and defense have been unmatched this season, ranked 1st in runs against, starters and bullpen ERA, FIP, pitching WAR and strikeouts. The Blithering Idiot head towards the playoffs looking for their 3rd Beer League title.

Lager Leaague - Kolsch division: Laughing Sun Red Dwarf - the Red Dwarf cling to a 1.5 game lead heading down the final stretch, as they look to claim their first ever Kolsch division crown, and only their second post season appearance since the inaugural season. Second baseman Jimmy Swan (.345 average, 12 home runs, 74 RBIs) and designated hitter Zachary Brown (.315 average, 25 home runs, 106 RBIs) are powering the Laughing Sun offense, while ace starter Jason Opatz (14-4, 2.95 ERA) is looking for his second Beer league title, after winning two years ago with Great Raft.

Lager League - Tripel Division: Texas Leaguer Chin Music - seeking their first Tripel division crown since the inaugural season, Texas Leaguer takes a 6 game lead into October, with a magic number of 3. Ace starter Travis Baker is having a career year, with a career best wins 14-7, and a 3.21 ERA.

Stout League - Porter Division: Funky Buddha Huki Idol - the Huki Idol have claimed their third straight Porter division crown thanks to a high powered offense (top ranked in runs scored, batting average, on base percentage, OPS, batting WAR and wOBA). On the back end, closer Marcos Valerio is having a killer season, with a 4-4 record, 44 saves and a 1.73 ERA.

Stout League - Dunkel Division: Four Hands Typhon - despite riding a 6 game losing streak to end the month, Four Hands still holds a 2 game lead in the division, and a magic number of 5 (as the rest of the division also have 6 to 7 game losing streaks going now as well).
