I don't think he is that bad

No I'm joking because it's one of my old one... sadly it's the one I have on file but I'll launch OOTP 22 and give him another try for you.

Jerry White could use a new one. Photo is the only playing-career-era face/eyes-forward pic I could find of him that wasn't half shade, half sunshine.

What is the most update .zip to download? Or do we just do one fg file at a time?

The most recent zip file is always in my signature block.

Once you download and unzip it, you can copy each .fg file from there (Select All and then Copy) to the "fg_files" folder that the game looks for. Let me know if you need help finding the game's "fg_files" folder to paste them in. The easiest way to navigate to said folder is from the "Settings" folder on the main page, then Troubleshooting tab, then selecting the find customizable folders button.

Lastly, the new ones are everything from post 3690 on page 185 forward. Those you need to drop in individually or wait for the next zip (prob around AS Break).

If you bought the game on Steam, subscribe to it in the Workshop. After subscribing, go to Workshop Central at the bottom of the OOTP start-up page, download and install it from the Workshop Central link there (after subscribing).

Make sense? If not, ask questions on the step that trips you up. Happy to help.

He's in the 1889 season file I'll send you but I post him here to let you decide before you cut and paste it in the main file... I have used the same photo but with some AI help.

I'll take it. Make sure he's in the file - thanks!

EDIT: You can also call out the proposed swap outs of my old ones (thank goodness I got better!) in the read me file so I know that my current file risks overwriting them. I can look at them that way side-by-side. That way I can pluck them out and add them to my new master without overwrite risk in the process.

The only difference with my setting and yours is that "facegen detail level" is set to high...

Is it normal to have the player facegen overlap the arrows along the top?

I think it's a problem with the Mac version... I could be wrong but this is what I remember reading in the technical support section.

Weird... I'm so used to hear that FG is a lot of trouble on the Mac version that it was my go to reply.

I think the solution to your problem is here...

On the scaling issue, see this thread and see if anything can help. There are a couple of other threads out there too WRT scaling.

https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=345138

I too have both the bottom options on "High". My facegen zoom (the top one) is "In" but my profile picture zoom setting (the lower one) is "Normal". My angle is "Straight" but mostly, I suppose, because I am making facegens.

If you are playing an existing game, you may need to refresh the facegens as the fg file, once loaded onto a face (fictional included) stays in the cache as a temporary file. This can be done by player on the player editor page (auto-refresh) or en masse in the Game Settings.

EDIT: AESP beat me to the link post

Thanks. I'll see if any of those tips help and then will refresh the FG files.

It's not a huge thing, but just noticed it and would like it all to fit. I'm playing on 1920 x 1080 screen size.

William Burke

Bill Burke was a 6'0", 200lb pitcher who appeared in two games for the champion Detroit Wolverines in 1887. In 15 innings, his ERA was 6.00. - bRef Bullpen wiki

The rest is lost to history. I forgot to crop the face before putting it through the AI. I love how the AI had no idea what to do with his hands in the second picture other than have him box. No before pic as it was one of the fake Bickford faces. I kept him on the heavy side as the original image seemed heavy. There were also only seven players at or above 200lbs in 1877, so this will give him a bit of a differentiating look among the many mustachioed men of the era.
