Here are Diamond and Gold. Everything looks to be fine with them.

			2058 tier breakdown:

Silver just needs 11 more OL teams for a full league. All is back to normal (i.e. disarray) at Bronze; and a handful at Gold and Diamond. Iron= 1 team Bronze= 10 teams (7 in one league; 3 others in 3 separate leagues) Silver= 19 teams Gold= 8 teams Diamond= 6 teams Diamond league: Cary/Nowhere paired up in the AC East; Silly/Waffletown in the AC Central. Paxville and Brooklyn alone in the NC East and NC West respectively (will have to wait and see if they get interleague games to reach 10 OL games |

I will not be covering Bronze because my friendship was not enough this week and I am without OLers. Good luck to all.

Silver is definitely the place to be for OL. Staying there is the challenge. Only 4 to be promoted from Silver, but 9 to be relegated. There are OL teams everywhere, but NC West is full of them.

Heh, you could be onto something there...

Shame your new team didn't get into Bronze. I reckon there's like an anti stalking feature to the friends list, meaning it's critical to have all friendships going both ways or teams will be split up. You probably need to know which teams haven't added you so that you can remove them. |

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised when I awoke this morning to see Keystone in the NC West along with all OL teams. It will be an enjoyable week after going through all of that garbage last week in Gold where no one on my team could do anything right and causing the Kops to finish 2nd to last in the whole league! It is never good when things go so badly, so quickly, that by Monday night your team is already on autopilot for the rest of the week! Boy, do I hate getting promoted to Gold as it is like that every week up there for my team. |

			Diamond league:

Cary off to a solid start in OL play, with the Mad Brewers close behind. Paxville and Brooklyn yet to play. Paxville will get interleague games vs Cary/Nowhere; while Brooklyn gets the Magus treatment once again and will only play Paxville to fall short of the 10 game minimum

Baltimore and Lemp Ave. are tied at the top, with Algoma lurking just behind, but there are many games left to play and a very crowded field.

A heavy beating by Coney Island in their latest game might be enough to keep the Shiners feet on the ground. It certainly earnt the team a good bollocking by the manager

.It would be nice if all the OL teams stay up this week. |

The Mad Brewers powered their way through May with a 4 game sweep of Waffletown followed by a 3 game sweep of Cary to take a solid lead in the standings. Brooklyn still on the sidelines waiting their first OL game. (quoting my previous post: "though right now they are only the 3rd worst team in the league, so there's room for decline" - to be honest, I thought the decline might take a bit longer but when you go 3-26 in May, it's an express elevator ride to the basement. Syrups on track for their worst season in PT history... any version). |

I could write an essay, but... Perfect should be a 3-team pyramid and Diamond should have up to double the current number of leagues. Competitive balance would be somewhat established... IMHO.

Again IMHO, the jump between Gold>Diamond was bad last year and is even worse this year. The lack of competitive balance at the levels that so many active players populate is letting the game down. Last edited by Tinkerman; 12-15-2021 at 10:53 AM. |

Algoma stumbles, leaving the door open for Lemp Ave. and inexplicably good South Holland.

			Diamond league:

Cary has a solid month to pull closer to the top, but Silly maintains the lead. Overall, Cary holds their division lead by a slim half game. Paxville just a game out of first place in their division. Silly is 4.5 games off the pace. Nowhere and Brooklyn are mired in the basement and in relegation territory... (and to steal a line from Moneyball)... then there's 50 feet of crap.... and then.... there's Waffletown
