I was having the same problem but I think I worked out a way around it. If you click on a link for one of the older versions you should then be able to get to the 0.87 version by going using the links to the OOTP-Uniform-Maker page that Eriq has. From there you can get to the 0.87 version.

Yeah, I accidentally put the wrong link in the post. That's fixed now.

So when I first load the program, the jersey has no wrinkles/shading. But when I uncheck the color swatches option, the wrinkles/shading layer appears and I can't remove it. Same w/ the pants.
Is there a way to turn the wrinkles/shading off so I can create my own normal maps after adding logos and such? |

No, there's no way of creating your own normal map within the confines of the app. And OOTP automatically applies the same normal map to all pants. Last edited by eriqjaffe; 04-24-2023 at 12:17 PM. |

The fonts have to be in the jersey_fonts folder.

It's not letting me load any fonts that are png. I've tried a few different websites converting png to svg, and then from svg to ttf, and the fonts still won't load. Is it a matter of finding the correct website to convert to a real ttf? What am I doing wrong (on my Mac)?

You can drop an image containing text into the Font tab and the app will use an OCR library to try and parse the image and place the detected characters into the appropriate places, but that's only available on the Font tab and it isn't really a font. Images that you do that with are not available elsewhere because it would require a major rewrite of the cap and jersey text sections and I don't want to undertake that. To my knowledge there are no sites that can just convert an image into a usable font. You'd be best served finding the actual font file in .ttf or .otf format - those are actual font files. |

Sorry... I meant is there any way to turn off the shading/normal map in Uniform Maker so that I can save a jersey w/o the shading/normal map and use Materialize to create my own? |

Not the way the app is written, unfortunately. The closest you can get is to convert the diffuse map to a grayscale image and use that as a base.

Outstanding program, but one minor issue I noticed when doing vintage caps: I'm unable to turn eyelets off. They stay on the cap regardless of whether I have cap eyelets ticked on or off and they remain in the finished product.

I should be able to make it possible to turn those off - you can minimize it of course by setting the color of the eyelet and shadow to the same color as the cap. You probably won't really notice it then unless the camera is really close.

Finally got around to buying '24 and playing around with the latest update of the uniform maker and I'd just like to say fantastic work as always, sir
![]() I just have one quick question about fonts. I have a fictional league I'm working on that has some "real life" teams like the Red Sox etc. When I use fonts for that league as opposed to my other save files...Do I have to keep changing the fonts around? Or is there a better way to get them to work that I'm not understanding? I've scrolled through the forums and haven't seen much about the fonts...Although it could be right in front of my face and I'm missing it xD |

You can manually assign any font in that folder, though, there's a button in the uniform selection screen for it. To add an extra wrinkle, fonts can be saved as either PNG or WEBP files. The Uniform Maker saves them as PNG files, but either can be used. |

I am having issues getting the jersey name and numbers to appear. I have the file saved in the jersey_fonts folder with the .webp. In game the number and names just show up as black blobs while the actual number/name should be a bronze color.
