Thanks for the heads up, Markus. In the next FaceTool release, I am planning on implementing an "auto-detect" for the delimiter so that no one will have to worry about it.

When I run facetool everything seems to load correctly. However when I try to select team at a time or custom uniforms for each team, Only 2 teams are recognized. If you take a look at the attatchment below, only the 2 all-star teams show up. So really none of the 16 teams in my league show up.

Can some smart person please help me figure this out. This isn't any type of run time error or anything, It's just me missing a step somewhere.
Is this a brand new league? Have you had the initial draft yet or are any players present on the rosters? I am wondering if the Tool is not recognizing the other teams because the CSV reports do not reflect any players on that team. If you haven't already, I would try running the draft and then use FaceTool again.

Ok, working with Deft's templates and Bobble's heads, I have to move the head down a bit to fit the 1900s collared shirt.

What exactly do I need to adjust to make the heads in the utility fit the collared shirt?

Here's a couple examples where the head had to be lowered:

For old leagues you could set the "handlebar moustache" setting to 90%

My latest version has accounted for this and the neck mismatch but I am out of town till after Labor Day and ootpmodsquad appears to be inactive. Is there another upload site I can use? Like the unis.

Since I'd rather not read through pages and pages of posts to find it, has there been a quick summary published to explain speficially what we have to do and what needs to be in place in order to start using this utility?

This is probably really obvious, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

How do I have the program only generate faces for rookies so existing faces aren't overwritten (I don't want my players to change appearance every year!).

Does everyone who's downloaded the utility have a rapidshare account? 'Cause I can't download this thing. I go for the free option, 'cause I'm not paying 10 euros to download one single file. I wait the 80 seconds type in the code it gives me and then says that my session expired. Unless it only gives me nano seconds to type in this code, it shouldn't expire.

Any ideas?

Try using a different browser I have AOL as default and it did not download for me either, I swithed to IE and it worked. It does not seem to work with AOL that could be the problem

I have edited this post. The OOTP FaceTool installation file is now available from the OOTP Mod Squad site.

Download Face Tool Setup

I too would like to see this answered, I am not sure if it is possible in the current version.

what I did was copy all of my existing faces, erase the existing db info face tool keeps and then create a whole new batch of faces, then copied back the original faces, then I went one by one and re-did faces on guys that changed teams. This was pretty time consuming, but worth it for me.

I would love it if there was an easier way.

If you already have photos for players in your league (eg MLB uniforms) FaceTool will automatically detect them and won't overwrite them. (DO make a backup copy though, because it's not fool-proof.)

Not at all, go nuts.

NOTE Regarding Latest OOTP Patch (1.0.3):
I am told that in the latest patch, there is a new option to set the delimiter character for CSV Dumps to either "," or ";". You must use ";" for FaceTool to work properly. As well, if there have been any changes to the field order in the new patch, that might cause some errors with FaceTool. I have not tested FaceTool on the new patch yet, and I will be unable to for some time, as I am going to be in Quebec City for the next week or two. As a result, this is probably the last you will hear from me for the next couple of weeks. Rest assured, however, that when I get back I will read this thread and try to address any issues that come up. Also rest assured that I am still working away at a new version of FaceTool that fixes some of the bugs that have beeen reported and adds a whole crop of new features. However, as I am returning to school, it will take me a while to get the new version out (think months, not weeks... sorry.)

I'm glad that so many people are enjoying their new faces, and to those still having problems, please accept my apologies. There are several people on these boards who have been able to sort the issues they were having out and hopefully those people will be able to give you some tips and advice.
