Asylum Open on Top in OL B413

The Keepers swept their only series, while Inland Empire, Lumberton, and Las Vegas also were quick from the gate.

New York and Sonora at the top. The Broncs appear to be making a brief appearance in Silver, before returning to back to Gold.

Hartford Whalers Alert

I saw an interesting PP reward for the Asylum Keeperss so I checked out the box score. The game was against the Hartford Whalers and it was then I noticed that they had some ineligible players in their lineup and and on their pitching staff. With that being the case, their results will be pulled from the OL standings and they will remain on the sidelines until their roster is amended.

Gold League

Paxville out in front and probably won't look back until the DS... Although, maybe they've got the green light for promotion this week? I'd definitely rather be losing to Cary than kind of ruining a week in Gold.

Asylum Stays on Course in OL B413

The Keepers continue to lead a quartet of chasers. Hartford still has ineligible players and so will be left out of the standings unless the franchise is heard from. I suspect they are on auto pilot, at least to some degree.

New York stumbles a bit and Sonora takes the lead. HelthWyzer and Lemp Ave. are teams to watch out for.

Knockemstiff and Waffletown both gained a little ground. Quite funny given Paxville's 25 game winning streak, which was ended eventually by none other than the Steelheads!

Asylum Keeps on Leading in OL B413

The Keepers won their only OL contest to maintain the top spot. Inland Empire posted an 11-6 month to grab second, while Lumberton tumbled to fifth, going 4-11. Las Vegas benefited from a tabulation correction, and Terra Incognita moved up on the strength of a 10-6 run. Hartford is the only team facing relegation at the moment, but I won't be reporting their standing unless they report they are back in and complying with the OL guidelines.

No losses for the top 2 sees Waffletown drop back a bit.

Asylum Still Leads in OL B413

The Keepers ripped off an 8-2 month to hold tight to the the top spot. The only move of any significance was Left Coast moving up on an 8-3 run. Ironically, Hartford's removal is perhaps the biggest drag on an Asylum runaway, as the Whalers are 1-9 against the Keepers.

After a 7-6 start, Algoma has gone 27-9. Pretty impressive. However, HelthWyzer also began 7-6 and has been 38-6 since then to grab the top spot in Silver. Sonora remains in the race.

Only two teams are in a relegation spot at the moment, helped by the fact that relegations have been reduced to six for this season.

anyone for a double header (and then some)?

(Syrups did manage to steal one game out of that four game set, so at least it wasn't another sweep )

OK, so I have zero recollection of saying that. Must've been tired to say something so moronic

I probably wouldn't have noticed that game without you pointing it out. Probably the longest I've seen!

Asylum Close To Crown in OL B413

With only Inland Empire still in the chase, the Keepers can clinch by winning two of their remaining four games. The Wranglers have 10 left to play and must win at least eight of them. That number would only be sufficient if Asylum lost all four of their contests. If the Keepers win at least one game, Inland Empire would need to run the table, as 9-of-10 would leave them .005 short.

Talking of running the table...

Paxville are done for the season. Knockemstiff had a good month, but now need to win all of their 10 remaining games in order to overtake the Kings.

Algoma takes the lead in OL S361. The title will possibly come down to the final games of the season. The Penguins have 10 OL games remaining on their schedule, while HelthWyzer has 22, with the final 16 games against OL competition. With so many remaining games, it remains possible for teams such as Sonora, Lemp Ave., or even Sunday to make a run at the flag.

At least two OL teams will be relegated, with several others lined up to take the basement exit.

It has been a really successful season against some really good teams in Silver for the Penguins and the Crakes. I am hoping they keep playing well.

I am posting also as I created a 4th team in OOTP GO that has been very successful in the lower leagues--the Babel Librarians. They had a Live POTM for a while in Rookie league but have been OL compliant fully in Stone and Iron (they pulled an 11K silver early in Entry Pool that enabled them to get all the Live 15s which enabled much more). I was not sure if there was any active OL teams in Iron so I did not mention this before but as they are likely going to be in Bronze next week I thought I would mention them (and befriend all the OL teams in the Bronze Age). I will make a post tomorrow around the time we know where people are headed next week if it makes sense to add them to OL.

7-3 for Knockemstiff sees Paxville take the crown.

Just the 2 teams relegated, and I don't think that the Kings directly caused the Barons downfall, unlike the 3 teams within their own division.

Waffletown again came out on top of the now infamous Syrups V Warriors rivalry! Knockemstiff won a season long tussle with the Ballers, but may have to go another round yet. And, to my relief, Seattle finished safe (from Diamond!) at .500.

Good luck as always in the playoffs, though I'm hoping a bit more than usual that the Kings and Shiners will do well
