Brewery Championship Series - Game 3: #3WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy vs #3WC Crooked Crab Furious George
For 8 of 9 innings, the Jazzy Razzy pitching and defense kept Crooked Crab off the scoreboard. Unfortunately for Horsefly, that 1 lone inning was costly. With Horsefly leading 4-0, the Furious George used a barrage of hits and smallball to score 5 runs in the top of the 6th to grab the lead. The bullpen would make that lead hold up the rest of the way as Crooked Crab claimed a 5-4 win and a 2 games to 1 lead in the series |

Brewery Championship Series - Game 4: #3WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy vs #3WC Crooked Crab Furious George
Clinging to a razor thin 1-0 lead, Horsefly sent closer Michael Battle back out to the mound after pitching the 8th inning to go for the 2 inning save. Unfortunately for Battle and the Jazzy Razzy, the Furious George rattled off a series of hits that resulted in 2 runs crossing the plate to give Crooked Crab a 2-1 lead. Crooked Crab closer Jalen Johnson came in for the bottom of the 9th and closed out the game to give his club a 3 games to 1 lead in the series. |

Brewery Championship Series - Game 5: #3WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy vs #3WC Crooked Crab Furious George
Crooked Crab entered game 5 needing just one win to claim their first BCS title, and sent their ace back to the mound. Jim Stamey struggled once again as Horsefly jumped on him from the start, scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the first to grab a 3-0 early lead. Crooked Crab would claw their way back, scoring 2 runs in the top of the 3rd, and 2 more in the top of the 7th to take a 4-3 lead. In the bottom of the 8th, Crooked Crab right fielder Victor Contreras would ignite the crowd when he blasted a 2 run homer to give Horsefly a 5-4 lead. That lead would stand and Horsefly narrowed the series deficit to 3 games to 2 |

Brewery Championship Series - Game 6: #3WC Horsefly Jazzy Razzy vs #3WC Crooked Crab Furious George
It was jam packed at the Crab Shack as Crooked Crab hosted game 6 of the BCS, looking to close things out and avoid another game. First baseman Mike Davis was on point to make sure his club hoisted a trophy tonight, as he went a scorching 5-for-5 from the plate with 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Crooked Crab would coast to an 8-0 victory to clinch their first ever Beer League championship. Mike Davis would be awarded the series MVP. |
