Really bummed the Sluggers did not get in. This is the first time I have started with a clear process in mind and as an OL team from the very beginning. "Won" my entry pool division and am sitting at 16-5 thus far. Judging from the trainwrecks that are my other teams, this may have been my only chance at a title.

Tacoma off to a brutal start. They did well last year in Gold, but have been unable to put it together so far. Thinking of changing things up. Kaneohe, Aina Haina, Ewa Beach, and Palolo have not being doing well either.

First time I have been able to log in and look at my teams since the season started as I have been traveling like a madman. It was strange, first time I haven't looked at least twice a day since I started playing.

San Pedro is up to its usual, I didn't miss much. It's a streaky team win a bunch, lose a bunch. Haven't had time to scan the AH to reinforce the team a bit.

Everett is holding its own I fully expect them to be a .500 team. I picked up some big points at the end of last week that I am going to sit on until I get a better idea of what kind of mess I created. While I didn't expect them to lead the league defensively I am a little disappointed about their performance in the field, I thought I made more thoughtful overall choices.

The Boogie Knights are overall disappointing. The pitching has been awful. Pedro Bourbon who pitched well on my non OL perfect level team is pitching to an ERA of over 13, Gossage my closer is over 10 so to solve it I switched their roles to see what happens. The bright spot was putting up 24 runs in a game that earned me a little over 2K pp. I think I am at the point where I am going to have to replace Carew at 2B. He still generates points but not at the rate he did at lower levels and his defense is abysmal the trade off isn't worth it any longer. I have Harrelson currently backing up both 2b and SS and Buerlson on my reserve roster-I trained both of them at 2B. I am going to give it some thought and may pull Carew, start Harrelson at 2B. With Burelson SS rating as a late game sub I would have a pretty tight infield. Decisions......

While on vacation on Washington I only checked the game when I woke up and right before I went to sleep. Prior to that I was checking it practically every half hour and constantly swearing to myself. Ha. It's great having summers off.

Well, this is the first season that will have four teams relegated from Perfect, and it looks like most or all of them will be OL teams. The six teams with the worst record are all OL teams.

It's not all bad news though, as three of the top teams with the best records are also OL teams. So we will see how this season pans out.

By the way, I was going to attach an image to this post by saving screenshot to screenshot folder, but the icon to insert image requires an html address (not a file location to upload from), so I don't know how to add an image.

scroll down below the 'submit reply / preview post' buttons to the 'additional options' section.... click on the 'manage attachements' and that one will let you navigate to the screenshots folder to pick what you want to attach

I thought Markus meant the week of the 15th will be the first where four are demoted. I thought the PT universe screen still said two demoted this week, but I'm away from my computer now.

Unless there is a miracle I will be relegated. There is some real powerhouse teams in this league (P406).

I have almost 40,000 points to spend but I am waiting for a particular player. Probably I should just spend my points on a good starting pitcher!!

Ok, I wanted to give anybody here first shot at a Joe Cronin who is fully cross-trained at 2B and partially trained at 2B. Is anybody interested in him?

80's team will be undergoing a massive transformation, shifting a bit away from a full-80's theme. We will be allowed up to 12 guest players. However, the team must always have a majority of 1980's players, so 13 is the absolute minimum allowed.

This was spurred on by an insane pull of 99 Tim Keefe, and the funding from his sale will be used to reshape this team in a way I never thought possible.

I'm aware I pigeonholed myself into an 80's team with the username, but I'm going to try and pigeonhole my way out of it if it kills me. 80's and friends sounds good to me.
