I said this before and I’ll say it again: far and away the quickest to offend are IME the ones who cry about “wokeness”, and the quickest to refuse to purchase a product or engage in straight up stupidity like buying a bad product because they agree with the creator’s politics (for example, those square pillows) are the ones who cry about “cancel culture”. Where was this whine about cancellation when Colin Kaepernick couldn’t get a job? Or the Dixie Chicks back in the day? It sure seems like the terms are only trotted out when people whose politics you don’t agree with engage in this behavior…
I mean, look, buy what you want to buy or vice versa. They aren’t my dollars and capitalism does allow you to spend money where you want. Just don’t act like you’re anything but the petulant little snowflake you accuse certain others of being when you throw around your dog whistle language.

I understand your problem with what happened to Japan psu and I wasn't directing my comments towards you. You have the right to be mad because your game was impacted by the deletion of the league. There is a whole lot of moderation and apologies for people on here lately when it is just words and opinions is all I'm saying.

Thanks for the kind words syd. I appreciate a good scolding on my behavior every once in a while. I'm not saying cancel culture wasn't in existence when those events happened. I am just saying that the idea of people being canceled is a stupid thing to me. People chose their own actions in many situations and I for one am fine with whatever happens in general. My opinion of you or anyone else does not matter. My willingness to buy the game wasn't affected by the removal of the league. And also my willingness to buy the game has no affect on the makers of the game because the 1 potential loss in sales does nothing to their bottom line. I am personally not as bad as my rant seemed but people can take my words however they are interpreted.

There’s a Carly Simon song about this, I think. C’mon, dude. Elastic Man couldn’t stretch this thin. You have to know that’s not what’s happening there. Let’s not turn this into another locked thread due to the imaginary “dogpile” rule.

![]() That's all I am going to say on the subject, and I agree...don't want to go down the path of another needed thread closing. |
