We need GO to give the game an infusion of mobile players.
If like last year will be about 2 and a half weeks

It may be an OS restriction that keeps save carry over from happening.

Yes, iOS has always been much more restrictive with file transfers than Android.

I guess if you can manage to move your saved game folder to the correct GO 23 folder you'd have a chance.

I'll test this out once I finally get my hands on GO 23 and post back with the results.

Export Seasons

One other thing I'm very happy to say is that we've pretty much finalized a way of transferring purchases to the new app. As a sneak peak, you'll notice that there was a recent update to the original app, and on the purchase screen you can now find an "Export seasons" button next to the "restore IAP's". If you can't see this, try uninstalling then reinstalling the app to get the update (updates can be a bit tricky with apps that are no longer available on the store). In the new app you'll then have a "Load Seasons" button to pull the purchases in
Thank you for the Export Seasons feature, Will. The new button is in there. I can’t wait to try the new app.

Give it a try but it is unlikely-you used to be able to use a third party tool to move saves (In MLB Manager I used to move my save between my phone and iPad) but Apple has blocked it. Something may have changed, but that has been my experience.

First if you delete the app and reinstall it-you will get the export feature but when you delete it you will lose all saved games (not any seasons or bundles you purchased). If you still want to proceed with getting update-Here is how I did it on my iPhone 11, if you have a different model the instructions should be similar.

Delete the app on your phone
Go to the App store
Go to updates
You will see "Purchased"
Once in you will see "not on this phone"
It will populate a list of all apps you have deleted and are in iCloud-you can reinstall from there and again you will lose saved games by doing this.

Once you're done and open the app, enter franchise mode and purchase seasons and you will see export at the top.

@Will, is it planned to make an official announcement before the soft release like last year?

Any update on the soft launch would be greatly appreciated

Unless there is some big game breaking bug still I think it would be helpful to get the game out there and start collecting feedback from more users.

Maybe they should work on Go!24 instead. I mean, what will it be available for, the last 3rd of the season? It would be nice to get it at the beginning of the MLB season. I hope that's not an issue with the regular game again.

I can try to walk you through the process on an Android but can't help much on an iPhone unfortunately.

I can say that I've installed the game on a new Android device even after it was removed from the Play Store and was able to restore my seasons.
Found the update and got the export button. Thanks for your help.

I saw the Update (version 22.12.0870621) in the iOS App Store two days ago and it installed successfully. However, if I try to access the app by going into All Purchases / My Purchases / OOTP Baseball Go, I get a message that says "Cannot Connect to App Store". I am in Canada, so my experience might be different from those in the U.S. But I am concerned that, if I uninstall the app, I won't be able to reinstall it and won't be able to Export Seasons. Will, any info on this?

If you were able to update the app then you should have the export button available.

so we have been asked a lot recently what the status of the new version of OOTP Go is. In a nutshell:

- There will be a new app, called OOTP Baseball Go 23.
- This app will replace OOTP Baseball Go on the app stores once it launches. You will still be able to download the old version though, but it won't be available to new customers.
- OOTP Go 23 will only allow access to Perfect Team 23, not prior versions.
- We are working on moving in-app purchases of historical seasons over to the new app, but there are technical issues and this may not happen. Purchases of the 2021 MLB & KBO seasons do not carry over. PT22 purchases won't either, of course.
- There is no timetable for the launch of OOTP Go 23 yet, but we are working hard to launch it this Spring.

We'll keep you posted on the progress.

Thanks for your patience!
Markus & the entire OOTP Team

How about creating a GO 23 section?

Thought of a new question: if we carry over the historical seasons will we have the same Guardians rule as the computer version

Is the export button in the app or in the App Store? If it's in the App Store, that's what I no longer have access to, even if I go into the Purchases section.
