Duluth Black Freighters, Hollywood Pictures, Juarez El Paso Hermanas, Santo Domingo Astronomos
More updates to previously posted teams. Duluth logo is from the Kobe 1937 team on tx's drive; Astronomos is my version of a team name by thebananabandit - the small comet logo is his, just resized
Juarez has a quetzalcoatus - probably revisit that |

New York Transformers
Lyric from "Make Up" by Lou Reed 1973
"Now we're coming out/ out of our closets/ out in the streets" also this is now a baseball team so they are coming out into the field from the dugoutOne trying to do the noisy font from the album cover (I found the Electric Circus font), one with a readable font Last edited by 20_range; 01-19-2024 at 08:32 PM. |

Rhode Island Wanderers
I googled how to make a globe like this in inkscape and it turns out it's really easy, there's a built in extension.
This is the North Atlantic right whale, which I'd been wanting to fit on a logo, this team could easily be the ME Wanderers, NH, NB, CT, etc. Really popular team name in soccer. Babe Ruth played one season for a minor league Providence Grays, I found when looking up the old Major League/Old Hoss Radbourn team by that name, so I made the P in a circle for the small logo. Barranquilla Zanates
As a person who has never been anywhere (I have been to Canada), Cartagena and Barranquilla Colombia can be very confusing. These are their flags: Barranquilla / Cartagena. But they are gigantic cities in the baseball playing region of the country, and I'm determined to make teams for them. I already have the Liberatores in this thread, which could go in either, but I had put it in Cartagena.
I found this great statue of this great bird, in Barranquilla, so, the Barranquilla Zarates. But then reading about the artist, Enrique Grau, he seems more associated with Cartagena, and the bird is said to be a symbol of Cartagena, and Cartagena has the same statue! So maybe I'll rearrange my league again, but anyway I had a lot of fun with this Last edited by 20_range; 01-24-2024 at 11:56 PM. |

Cartagena Zanates
Here they are as the Cartagena Zanates. The disembodied yellow text looks good on the background in the game (it kind of looks insane here on this white background)

Pittsburgh Grackles
I also made this as the Pittsburgh Grackles, because of the colors (the yellow is from a picture of the bird's eye), and also because following the thread of the hilarious name grackles is how I got here in the first place

Pittsburgh Grackles might show up a lttle better in black on the outside of the circular logo. You might consider enclosing the team name and nickname with a banner or make it part of a circular logo. No problem, if you don't agree... Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. Saginaw Mysterians
There was a request for some Michigan teams. Well, I looked up some Michigan cities, and found that ? and the Mysterians were from Saginaw, Michigan
![]() Here is their 1966 hit, 96 Tears. It's the best. I tried versions with lots (up to 96) of teardrops, but settled on just two ![]() logo is based on the Bowery Giants from moosbrugger on this forum. Last edited by 20_range; 02-01-2024 at 11:43 PM. |

Love the Saginaw Mysterians.
I really like your work when you traditional logos... really creative how you used the baseball to form the secondary logo... brilliant, my friend. You are very good and also very, very creative. Good choice musically... that was a #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966... Question Mark and the Mysterians were one-hit wonders . EC was a DJ for 32 years... retired in 2002... but went back on the air last July.... and lovin' every minute of it. Last edited by Eugene Church; 02-02-2024 at 10:09 PM. |

Thanks!
It's been stuck in my head for a couple days thinking about making it - I even went so far as to invent a new melody to sing it to the baby ![]() edit: the ? on a hat actually looks great in the game Last edited by 20_range; 02-01-2024 at 11:41 PM. |

Bronx Razors
Another Yankees-type team, not sure which I like better

Bronx Razors slightly improved
thanks !
here it is slightly improved. I gave them 1923 for a founding date, the year the Yankees moved from Manhattan to the Bronx. I also made an alternate colors version, for those (me) who might want to make a NY neighborhood league and have them be rivals to the Yankees or Imperials. The colors are from the Bronx flag, which, wow, might have to make a third team. |
