They're already out -- the only thing we have to do is fix birthdates (which should be almost ready in this next set) and wait for the stats to come over from another guy helping out so that we can import them. Other than that, they're all correct.

EDIT: (oh and finish off the top thirty for each team, but for the moment we're stalled because I left my BA top thirty book at school

So there aren't full minors? Just the top 30 at the final release?

Sorry no there isnt any quick way to bulk rename pics. The problem comes in when there's multiple guys with the same name. And since I am building my own rosters, I haven't taken the time to go through and name them for Cubby's set. Maybe someone else will wanna have at it and re upload my pics?

No the minors are already full of their real players, I'm just doing a really really in-depth re-rating of the top thirty (with pitches, etc.)

I have the real rosters, updated from your website, but the managers are still fictional. Do I need to do something to get them to be the real deal? Thanks, and if I could help you in any way i would offer, but I am not very solid when dealing with these databases and such. I can research stuff for you, just let me know.

I was simming a league with Cubby's rosters. I've done it a few times without any problems, but this time on June 21 it told me that a Tigers minor league team had an invalid number of players and then Johnson City(whatever that is) also had an invalid number of players. Is anyone having this problem? I'm using the newest version as far as I know.

Edit: I clicked the thing that says allow ghost players and it worked. Not sure why it was unclicked.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. ARod is just not that good when I sim. I know he was awful in the playoffs but he did hit .290 with 35 HR's and 121 RBI's last year and is off to a crazy start this year. Also, Jeter consitently hits in the 280's, not the 340's as he has been the last couple years. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Great work Cubby. Thanks for doing it.

i am sure these are in the thread but just dled the roster and looked it over. 3 quick questions

1. How do u get Stars to appear?

2. it is a 40 man roster in the majors. when u get to spring training or the end of it will the game allow you to move to a 25 man roster?

3. can the ratings be changed to 1-10 or 1-20 w/o screwing things up?

bas- ratings comments (about ARod, Jeter, etc) are best put in the official CubbyFan/haveband Ratings thread, which is in the Rosters forum. First open ARod and Jeter's Editor screen (go into Commissioner mode from Manager-->Options, then go to the player profile and click on the Editor tab) and have a look at their projected stats, based on their current ratings. If these seem out of line, then post suggested changes there. The game changes ratings a lot over a season or two, so it may just be 'bad luck' in the sim you did.

1- To get stars, go to Game Setup in the Game menu; in the middle of the left-hand column, there is an option for 'Overall/Potential Rating': choose Stars.

2- Yes, you'll have 25-man rosters when the regular season starts.

3- Yes, you can change the way ratings are displayed to whatever you like- this only affects what you see, not how the players are really rated. Change this in the same place as item 1 above.

I am hoping somebody can help me here. I DL the rosters and they are excellent. The problem I am having is when I go to play my first game of the season there are 39 players on all the active rosters. I thought I read somewhere that this reverts to a 25 man roster at the end of spring training. I do not have any spring training games showing on my schedule to play. Is there somewhere I clicked to turn these games off? If so how and where do I turn it back on. I play the games out for just 1 team(Pittsburgh) and then sim the rest. I have human control over all teams however. I try to stick to the actual transactions made during the real MLB season. Also is there a web site that lists all MLB opening day rosters for 2007? I looked everywhere last night and could not find anything.. Thanks so much for any help rendered. It will be highly appreciated.

In Spring Training you can have 40 players but at the start of the Regular Season you have bring that down to 25. You need to choose the 14 players to demote yourself. If you are in control of all teams yourself that will take some time! But the rosters are working fine , its how it works. You can have 40 again during the month of September.

Any update on the wrong ordering of 2005/2006? I'm still seeing it - and what's more disheartening is the team histories, which don't reflect 2006 stats. So for example looking at the Phillies all time single season home run leaders, you don't see Ryan Howard's 2006 season there.

With the help of redsoxford I have actually succesfully added Foz's real world college template that includes Div. 1's top 112 teams- all with correct team colors courtesy of Foz. Still needs a lot of work- and I wouldn't release unless Foz gives his permission and Cubby's Roster is in a little more of a final form.
