OOTP 22 Pre-Order Q&A Thread - Page 15

Hello! I was curious and hadn't seen it answered in the list shown in the Q&A video section, are contract extensions of more than 10 years available to offer a player? (Instead of using the editor). If not, not a deal breaker, but I hope it makes it in next year with all these players signing 12+ year extensions.

if you all are still answering questions....can you implement the MLB call-up rule where you have to wait 15 days to call a player back up after sending to the minors? It's hard for me to keep track and have to go check game logs to see their last MLB appearance since I want to keep it as realistic as possible.

I would have pre-ordered but I'd rather have the game on steam with all of the benefits that come with the steam version. It's a shame that company that's grown to this size won't reward the pre-order by providing a steam key once that version releases. Wolverine Studios does that for all of their games and they're much smaller.

But looking forward to picking the game up when the steam version releases.

Some day I'd really like a wizard of some sort for relocating teams. I'll be bumping along in my solo league and a couple teams will change cities without any notice. It's a little bizarre.

Question... plan to use the mlb database but plan to add a side fantasy league into the file.... was wondering not sure what I should do if the update between Tuesday and Friday if there will be much of a diff... I know it goes from beta to full game

You've got league evolution enabled. You can turn that off in the league settings.

Or, if you prefer, you can just turn off relocation and keep other things enabled.

I like those options being on, I just previously didn't receive a mail message or note when a team changed locations, so it was a little jarring.
