Man, I came so close to naming my team the Saginaw Gears, but ended up going with Great Lakes Loons for the Logo. Would have been cool to be the Gears and end up in a league with a team from Flint.

First season will go down as the best and most memorable they've ever done.

facing teams full of golds and diamonds. I've never even sniffed a diamond yet i know its early, but i'll say it now we'll be back next week! |

After missing promotion by one game I got into a division with two abandoned teams (36 cards, one gold, three silver) and play them a lot in April. 9-3 so far with three shutouts. Lost one game in 18 innings with Tucker Barnhart pitching (flinches) ...

Off to a promising start then down hill from there, 6 game losing streak.

Started out 4-8, which is not great but there are signs that my offense will be a little more lively, but to balance that out I am facing tougher pitchers.
My pitchers so far have been the huge let down. I just lost my 9th game in extra innings to a team whose highest card (position players and pitchers) was a 63. EDIT: I got swept by them as the offense I said looked better disappeared. Last edited by Maddox; 11-12-2018 at 07:44 PM. |

Better than expected. Limiting myself to a team full of 63 max rated players. 5-10 to open to season in A.

This is going rather swimmingly, actually, after a little winning streak I'm 7-11.

Same for my team. After an amazing performance by my team last year to come within 1 game of the playoffs, they are acting like they are the Miami Marlins in real life.

After squeaking in as the 16th team in my league to be promoted, I am suddenly 15-7 in A-ball, with a 12 game win streak.
Okay then. |

Lost conference final in the rookie league, so I think my team is decent especially looking at ratings compared to others.
7-17 so far. 3 of 5 sp after 5 starts have era double of last year, other 2 are just ok, the relievers suddenly suck, most of the batters now suck. I checked out the other teams, only 2 teams are quite stacked so it's not like I've faced a bunch of whale teams. I thought for sure that was the reason my team is struggling, because the other teams players are better in the A level. Best thing when the sim engine is kind of ridiculous is I can just forget about this season for a few days and come back next week. It's nice having the quick turnaround. |

16-8 and first place at the end of April, although I would have hoped to get more PP from playing the abandoned teams a lot. The entire lineup just went a-freeze at the end of the month.
I also sold my A.J. Pollock (80) overnight for a mere 1,000 PP. Turned that into a new pack immediately, revealing at least four live guys I had never heard of. So yeah, it is probably going downhill a lot from here...

Checked this morning and think I was 10-16. My poor little team is doing alright against some bigger teams. Trying not to rush into changes, but I did switch out two relief pitchers with ERAs over 10. Going to have to make a change in the outfield as well, but couldn't decide in the few minutes I had this morning so I'll save that for tonight. Earned 4 achievements so for worth 370 PP.

16-10 in the rookie league (good for 2nd in my division)... got some holes in the SP staff, so always on the lookout for an upgrade there.... bought a 1000 pp pack on the off chance I'd land a decent pitching upgrade but no luck for that position; although that pack did land Joe Torre (88) for a nice boost at catcher.

16-10. Good for second in my division. My Steve Garvey won hitter of the month hitting .400 with an 1.100 OPS, so that's gonna come down. Dee Gordon is way over performing, hitting .350 with 18 steals for the month. My pitching is probably underperforming so they've balanced out.

I ended the day yesterday at 9-16. I was the last player in my division to sneak into the A level league. I barely broke .500 last season so I don't have high hopes.
I am mostly sticking with the team this season, especially on the offensive side. My pitchers are all getting lit up so I may look at upgrades there if it keeps happening. . Last edited by Maddox; 11-13-2018 at 11:30 AM. |

Season 2 after promotion. Lost in league Championship last year, worst record amongst 30 teams this year.

1.5 days 24-9 so far as Silfir. 10k of points due to unbelievable comeback where in 1 inning i allowed 10 run and won in 15 inning
![]() ![]() I'm building my team only through opening packs, dont have diamonds, 5-6 gold and a lot of silver cards. First season was a wildcard contender, second is much better. Last edited by Pepperoner; 11-13-2018 at 02:55 PM. |

that's kinda my strategy too. not gonna waste PP on marginal upgrades this season, i'll wait til next season when I am likely demoted and then hopefully have a bit more spending power i'll suffer in the earnings a bit, but the savings will allow me to make one or two big purchases instead of 5 or 6 slight upgrades |
