It appears iron has also gone the way of the dodo. Perhaps one of the teams heading down from bronze will pick it up next week. Will check back later to hand out any playoff hardware. Good luck to those still playing.

My thoughts: Every time the Devs do something that 'resets' the tourney ai, Paxville immediately go on an unusually good run in bronze - like placing in 6-8 in a row. Then things return to normal. This week, they had their 50-60 pack day, but are now winning less packs than has been the norm. Maybe a blip, maybe the 'new normal'.

Just took a peek at at the universe tab for B288 and saw that the conference finals match ups are the four OL teams that made the playoffs, so there will be an OL World Series for 2041.

That means that silver for 2042 will have 15 OL teams, which may be our largest share of a league so far. All four bronze teams will be promoted, three are coming down from gold, and eight of the nine current teams will be remaining. I'll be going into the office tomorow morning, so won't be able post the league set up until 4:30 p.m. or so. Since I have three teams in silver, I feel duty-bound to take care of the standings.

Woot! Nabbed the last piece of the stl mission#2, so next season Al Hrabosky and Stan Musial will be joining the Waffletown lineup.

Ron Guidry and Hack Wilson will be sent to the reserves to make room. Lou Brock will shift to backup the corner OF positions and Musial will take up residence in LF

I have a meeting first-thing myself, so we'll see if I can post before that. All three of mine headed to Silver as well.

After a disastrous 2021 season in which the Kops only managed to win 50 games, which set a club record, Keystone is looking to having a fun and enjoyable season back down at the Silver Level.


Very early on in the 2041 season, the "dike sprain a huge leak" and it did not matter who I tried to use as a pitcher, they all got their butt handed to them. On the batting side of things, the top batting average sported a .288 AVG and the 2nd best was a lousy .257 AVG.


It is amazing that a team can have a total collapse, all at the same time!


It also didn't matter whether we were are at Home or Away, we got killed all over the place!



It is very disappointing to realize that Keystone can not handle being in Gold as the Pack Luck Gods have not been good to us for several weeks.


As other teams are getting stronger every week and season, Keystone is heavily struggling to acquire Mission Reward Cards that can make a positive influence on the team.


Hopefully we can stay in Silver for a while where we can actually compete.


Time will tell......
