After a make-up game with the Phillies, the Superbas were in to Boston where Cy Young pitched them past the Beaneaters 5-4.

Harry Cassaday of the Inglis Blackhawks was named the 1905 Outstanding Hitter for his Rookie league.

Two of his teammates, Riroroko Amarina and Colin Davis, were the runners-up.

Dave Gilmour of Baton Rogue has announced his retirement. He reached AAA a number of times but didn't reach the bigs.

Baton Rouge Manager Luis Rodriguez was not renewed.

Ace Eddie Plank did it again, leading Brooklyn to a 7-1 win over the Reds.

Despite the win, the Superbas were officially eliminated today. No World Series this year.

Cy Young pitched a great game. Watty Lee embarrassed himself in relief. The Reds won 9-6.

Emmet Heidrick got a pinch-hit home run in the 9th. Pat Moran had a nice 4 for 4 day.

Ken Davis was solid and while the bullpen nearly coughed it up, the Superbas held on for a 5-4 win over the Reds.

Jimmy Sheckard hit his 2nd home run of the year.

Second verse, same as the first. Cole Crawford hit a 2-run homer in the 8th to bring Brooklyn within one run, but they still fell to the Cubs 3-2.
