Thanks, the funny part is my Dad was at tonight's game and was waiting in line for tickets after the game ended. I called to tell him I got tickets and he told some other guys in line that I got tickets online. I never heard so many curse words in my life
None of the guys he was standing near got any tickets by the time they got up to the window. They were all sold online. The internet is so great, at least tonight Hopefully I can see a win and see the Sox celebrate on the field, NOT THE TWINS!

I was there for Crede's opening day grand slam against the Twins, hopefully the OOTPer presence will bookend the season with another White Sox Winner!

Hopefully Danks can pitch like he did on 4/9 against the Twins. Wouldn't that be great, guys? Guys? Oh...c'mon!! You know you want him to!!

Maybe the Sox will beat the Twins up like they did the last time they came to town!

Do you guys know offhand what network it's going to air on? I know it's in the evening, which means I'll be able to watch it.
(My second class gets out at 5:20ish)

Good season for the Twins and their fans. It may end tonight, but they outlived their life span.
Regardless...the Twins stayed with Chicago the entire game. I honestly think it owuld have been different had the game been in MN, but it is what it is. The Twins just don't have the game changer that Chicago and (most) other teams have. |

![]() That was a hell of a catch by Brian Anderson to end it. Thank goodness for having a defensive replacement like BA - Griffey wouldn't have been able to come within 35 feet of it, and it would've gone for an easy triple. Last edited by eriqjaffe; 09-30-2008 at 11:24 PM. |

That was a great game and I am so glad I was there. There was nothing better than seeing the Sox beat the Twins for the division. I can barely talk today, but it was worth it. Wow, what a pitching performance by Danks!!! What a great throw and catch by Griffey and AJ and what a great play by BA. This team is fired up now, let's hope they make some noise in the playoffs. Regardless, they still went way above my expectations for this year. Go Sox!!!

I heard an interesting stat last night after the game. John Danks tied Cliff Lee for the most starts (22) with 2 earned runs or less given up. However, he had 10 wins less because of poor run support. That is one heck of a stat. The Brandon McCarthy trade keeps looking better and better.

I guess I ended up with egg on my face
Well done sox. Danks came to the park last night and wanted it more than anyone. I see a bright future for him. Now I will maybe even cheer for the sox if they play the BoSox. It might be tough because everytime I see AJ it reminds me of how much a tool I think he is.
