June recap - division leaders:

Lager League - Pilsner Division: Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot - another solid month for the Blithering Idiot in June (19-7), but they "only" find themselves with a 7 game lead nearing the halfway point of the season. On the mound, Jim Stamey keeps chugging along (9-3, 1.32 ERA, 215 strikeouts); and Troy Daniel (11-1, 1.56 ERA, 132 strikeouts) are just two of the many reasons why the team is making the charge for their 4th straight division crown.

Lager League - Kolsch Division: Laughing Sun Red Dwarf - a mediocre month for the Red Dwarf (14-14) has reduced their division lead to a single game. 2022 1st round draft pick, Zachary Brown is quickly becoming a regular in the starting lineup. So far this season he is batting .331 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs.

Lager League - Helles Division: Ballast Point Commodores - the Commodores went 19-8 in June to give them a 6 game lead in the division heading into July. Fan favorite Carlos Santana is having another solid season, batting .351 with 6 home runs and 43 RBIs.

Lager League - Tripel Division: Horsefly Jazzy Razzy - a sub-par month for Horsefly (12-13) has fans slightly concerned about the second half of the season, but they still remain atop the division with a 9 game lead. Bobby Rodriguez hasn't missed a step after coming over from Weyerbacher in the off-season. So far this season he is 11-2 with a 1.87 ERA and 143 strikeouts

Stout League - Porter Division: Terrapin Hopsecutioner - familiar territory for Terrapin, they take a solid 14 game lead into the second half of the season. Their balanced attack, ranking 2nd/3rd in most offensive categories, and 1st in most pitching categories means they will be tough to unseat from the top spot in the division.

Stout League - Dunkel Division: Four Hands Typhon - Four Hands takes a 7.5 game lead into the second half of the season, led by the solid bat of right fielder Justin Gulling and his .398 average, 9 home runs and 50 RBIs.

Stout League - Eisbock Division: Russian River Blind Pig - with the largest division lead in the league at 17 games, Russian River is in a solid position to make their 5th straight post season, and a run at a back-to-back championships. While their team batting average is struggling (14th ranked at .247), they make up for that with the power game (1st ranked in home runs with 113).

Stout League - Altbier Division: Toboggan Lunatic Fridge - from the biggest division lead to the tighest division, Toboggan holds a slim 1.5 game lead heading into July (and only 6.5 games separate 1st from 5th place).
