Lager League - Pilsner Division: Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot - in the relatively young history of the Beer League, the management of Weyerbacher has proven to be top notch in identifying the right talent and putting a powerhouse team on the field (3 straight Pilsner division crowns, 4 playoff appearances, 2 championships). This season has started off no different as the Blithering Idiot have shot out to a 21-2 start and an 8 game lead. With a rotation of 4 time Pitcher of the Year Jim Stamey (4-1, 1.04 ERA), Troy Daniel (5-0, 0.00 ERA), and Marcello Waddingham (5-0, 1.13 ERA), it doesn't leave much room for opponents to strike. At the plate, newcomer Eric Schnare is off to a hot start with his .419 average, and Antonio Santistevan is equally hot, batting .427 with 3 home runs and 20 RBIs.

Lager League - Kolsch Division: Charleville Half Wits - The Half Wits had a solid month of April, winning 2 of every 3 games for a .667 winning percentage and a 4 game lead in the division. Second baseman Rodney Thatcher is off to an unusually strong start as well, batting .404 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs (career average .254).

Lager League - Tripel Division: Horsefly Jazzy Razzy - hoping to build on last season's success, Horsefly is off to an 18-6 start to the 2024 season, and a 4.5 game lead in the division. Last years batting champ, Jesus Cruz, is doing his usual, batting .387 with 2 home runs and 15 RBIs. On the mound, newly acquired starter Bobby Rodriguez is earning the respect of the fans, going 4-1 in April with a 2.73 ERA

Stout League - Porter Division: Terrapin Hopsecutioner / Funky Buddha Huki Idol - familiar territory for Terrapin (4 time division champs); not so much for Funky Buddha (never finished above .500). Terrapin's ace starter Blake Miller might only be 2-0 so far, but his 0.59 ERA shows he is on top of his game. For Funky Buddha, their second ranked offense (123 runs scored) is being powered by their 3-4-5 hitters of Alejandro Rivera (19 RBIs), Joel Taylor (14 RBIs) and Bobby Shaver (22 RBIs).

Stout League - Dunkel Division: Four Hands Typhon - the Typhon have a slim 1.5 game lead after one month of play. Leadoff hitter Min Soo Kim finished last season on a hot streak and continued that through the start of 2024 as he set a new all time best hitting streak of 41 games. Starter Jim Ammerman is off to his best start ever, going 5-0 in April with a 1.80 ERA (career season best in wins is 13).

Stout League - Eisbock Division: Russian River Blind Pig - last year's champs are off to a strong 18-5 start and a 4.5 game lead in the division. With a solid power game (top ranked in home runs with 33, and on base percentage with .362); and a solid defensive game (top ranked in defensive efficiency at .735, and in errors with 8), the Blind Pig are putting up a well balance attack.

Stout League - Altbier Division: Tattered League Man of War - in the tightest division in the league, Tattered Flag has a razor thin half game lead over the second place club, and just a 2 game lead over the last place club. Newly acquired designated hitter Dan Arnold is earning his pay with his 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and a .312 average.
