EXE update: NOTE: I am not sure if the EXE update will work, so make a backup copy of your existing EXE file. The reason I say that is I added some imports and I think I may have to do the install package over again. I copied it over my install and it did work.

What did I add? Well, nothing to up the version to 6.5, but under players, it now totals the player's earnings and also displays his star rating year by year. I also fixed a couple of the rating that were swapped. (K's where base was, etc.) I also added a link at the bottom of the screen to the player being displayed that will open up his P or R file, like the Utility section does.

You are doing a wonderful job on this C.

As Seb said, I too am interested on the future of this utility in regards to player development tracking. It looks fantastic so far, and the player salary history is very cool.

Thanks RD. It is based on the salary at the end of the year, which is saved in the almanac. I like the Star ratings. You learn alot about the stars buy looking at that.

Also a very easy way to see how a player's skills decrease with age.

I want to display some players stats side by side with the ratings, but running out of real estate. Have to be creative here.

No, I won't charge anything for my program, but I am not stupid, I will accept donations to my smoke fund.

I have just updated the INSTALL PACKAGE and also the EXE update.

The major change was just to finish the records part. So now in the team section, all of the records that a team member set (AL OR NL Records, not team records), are displayed on the team page. A scroll bar is shown on the right side, while greyed out, but if there are 'more to show', it will enable itself.

I also fixed a couple speeling errors and a couple of viewing glitches.

Now comes the fun part!! I am starting the write HTML reports section. The first screens I design will be straight forward, nothing fancy, just the facts 'mam.

Once I get a few down pact, I will pretty them up and allow user custom templates to be used, (your logo, your colors, etc.).

All HTML files will be located in the RETIRED PLAYERS section. This allows me to make it easier to access the retired players and easy for you to upload it to your server.

I plan on adding a FTP section to upload it to the server with the option of zipping it up (if your server will automatically unzips it, like my server does for me) That is if I can find a free FTP routine to use.

I am also thinking about this: E-mail option. I thought about sending reports, but they may be too big for most mail servers to send. But, at least it could be used to send news and other stuff by e-mail to the managers.

One other thought: Click on FTP ZIP and it will zip up your league site with the retired player section and upload it to your server. Then, optionally send an e-mail to your managers saying, 'You may download the entire report at ..... for viewing on your local machine. Then the managers would download the zip file, unzip it and view the entire league on their local machine. Do you think it would be worth it? Since a manager could download the entire league, if made available, and install OOP 1 and view it at will.

On the Teams box, with the draft picks... If you click on the 2nd and 4th round picks, you get their info come up. You know, their awards etc... However, 1st and 3rd round picks don't have anything come up.

I don't use ratings or financials I'm afraid

I have noticed that, because I have ratings off in the game, your ratings page, I believe, crashes. So you might want to add a warning about that to the screen.

Loving everything else, though. My only wish is on the teams screen, where it lists player achievements, it would link to the page. Though really, going and searching isn't a major hassle.

Look forward to you maybe putting in some kind of leaderboard for RBI, HR etc...

Actually, I have two leagues running now. My 100 yearer and my 2000 one. The 100 year one would be perfect to test, but I did not have my player history on when I started it. I turned it on several seasons ago and it will work, but errors quite a bit.

The 2000 season was created for this program, to test it. That is my test league. The main target is those people. If you do not have a multi season running, the program is useless. However, a program should not have loose ends, even if people do not use that part of the program. So, once I am get all of the main features done and bug free for the normal users, I will go back and fix the sound issue, I mean the bugs for player off leagues. (Don't know where that sound thing came from)

No new download, but added a couple stuff to the players screen.

When you hit the rating button, and there is a listing of the ratings, you can see what team he started with that year. Also, you can see what the ratings are for his hitting coach and his pitching coach. This is on a scale of 0-9:

0 - unknown
1 - inexperienced
2 - fair
3 - ok
4 - average
5 - decent
6 - good
7 - excellent
8 - outstanding
9 - legendary

(Let me know if I missed one)

I plan on adding the scout and minor managers to this also. Have to fine tune the layout.
