I don't normally report on minor league games but down in Rookie Ball the Inglis Blackhawks beat the Crandon Carvals 31-6.

David McJannett hit four home runs.

Jose Ochoa hit four home runs.

Dennis Martinez hit three home runs.

Keep in mind that this is 1911.

The Brooklyn slump continues as Jack Coombs and the team as a whole had a terrible game, losing 10-2 to the Rustlers.

It is a double header so hopefully they perk up in game two.

LP - Jack Coombs (17-12)

Record - 60-46
