I like the colors and design on the first one but don't use the yellow sun rays... and don't put it on a black background...just use a very, very light yellow or very pale yellow background instead of the sun rays...keep the same orange on the jersey and the cap... that makes the player image stand out a little better.

The sunrays clutter the logo up too much... it wouldn't look well in the game.

The black and light orange should work well on the white home jerseys and gray away jerseys.

If you would, please place the COLFAX BLASTERS centered on the top of the logo and not on the side.

And use a less fancy font... a more traditional one.

I'm nitpicky to a fault.

Please don't spend a lot of time with the revisions... I could use any one of the originals and they would be fine.

Work at your own pace... there is no rush.

EC, I have a quick question regarding Glasgow. Is there any back story that could be incorporated into the logo (similar to the white elephant and the Philly Athletics) or did you have another idea in mind for the logo?

No, they are not out of left field... good job... like the "GC" font on the home cap... very catchy.

Grand City Cybercats look very good... the mascot is very good, too... like the way you used it on the caps and jerseys.

Both logos are fine... could you make the first one non-shiny? Nothing wrong with it... I just prefer the non-shiny.

The jerseys and caps are very well done... they will add some spice and variety to the IPA.

The Aberdeen Athletics were an amateur and company team in the early years of baseball in the Islands.

No real back story... maybe this will help inspire you.

GLASCO ATHLETICS

Glasco is a seaport town of 81,000 on the northwest coast of Ruthlandia, resting on a peninsula jutting out into Valdar Bay. It is known for offshore oil, shipping, shipbuilding, seafood and granite industries. Glasco was settled by Scots and is a prosperous cosmopolitan community.

It is a historical old town with a beautiful skyline with centuries old granite structures, replete with quaint stone bridges and gates and numerous canals and waterways. Granite has been quarried in the area for well over a hundred years. A unique aspect of Glasco is the Heritage Trail, a painted green and blue line (colors taken from the town’s coat of arms) on ancient brick sidewalks that connects all the history of the town and serves as a walking tour. Historical markers retrace all the important events in the town’s history. One can see the past and the present on the Heritage Trail.

Glasco’s gaslight district is known for its premier dining, shopping and entertainment.It is also home of the Glasco Athletics. The A’s have a long history of amateur baseball sponsored many years by the Aberdeen Granite Company. Now the professional ball club is owned by the Great Aberdeen Granite Company and plays in the Ruthlandia Baseball Union North Division of the Islandian Pro Alliance.

Glasco plays at beautiful Athletics Field overlooking scenic Valdar Bay. It was built for the 2001 inaugural IPA season. The right field wall is made of solid granite, and the team’s green and blue colors are proudly taken from the town's coat of arms. When the Glasconians take the seventh inning stretch, they begin with kilted Highlanders playing the traditional “Take me out to the ballgame” on bagpipes and end up by singing it all in unison with a wee bit of a Scottish brogue. Traditional ballpark fare and epicurean dishes are served at the concessions stands. Scottish delicacies like haggis (it’s great until you find out what’s in it) and hotch-potch (a sumptuous stew) are offered, along with many fine Scottish ales. And if Scottish dishes are not your cup of tea, traditional baseball foods and drink are provided, too.

Charles Darby is the GM and manager of the Glasco Athletics. He starred for the A's from 2001 to 2006. Darby played for three teams in the IPA, finishing up with a 241-226 record in 18 seasons. He retired at age 38 in 2018.
