I guarantee you will be able to pick that card up for a reasonable price if you're patient and just keep watching over the next couple of days.

I've noticed in general that the AH has been pretty poor since the announcement of collections release date. Selling my gold players has been impossible, even when I set prices below 7-day. I need the points to improve my main's starting rotation, so this is hardly ideal as I'd like to have competent pitching going into next season and without other sales, I can't do that.

My posts come off as whining, but really I'm not. As F2P, like all of us in Our League, I need every advantage I can get

yeah, been scouring the AH for improvements (that I can afford) and it's been rough going lately.... had one pitcher that popped up in my price range a couple days ago.... was ready to jump in with my max bid at the last moment to try and snag him but someone came along and snagged him for the buy-now price with 50 seconds left...

In the NC Central, the Ocala Thoroughbreds made a run at the end of the season (including taking 2 of 3 from Cooper in the final series) to finish the season in a tie with Cooper and forcing a tie-breaker to see who got the crown and who went to the wild-card. Finally, someone bought my Frank Thomas...and with the profits, I was able to get 89 Dick Ellsworth. An extreme GB pitcher, I think Ellsworth can be a huge success in my new park factors and with the strong defense behind him.

Also added Frank Viola. With offense in general being stifled in the new ballpark factors, I think he can be a success next season too. Still around 1,000 points left in case I see something worth getting.

In Iron, Arkham is playing Fancher Creek in one NC divisional playoff, and Philadelphia is playing Mudville in the other. That means that the winners of these series will be promoted to Bronze. So get ready for two new teams in Bronze next year!

I try to remember that if I give in and pay the price I am making it that much harder for my other teams to get decent prices on players. Too bad the developers don't release players into the auction house.

Now to see how fast I can get eliminated in the post season...again. We're up 2 games to 1 over Fancher Creek.

I154 Update: Both NC division series have come down to the deciding 5th game. The two teams that will will move on to the sub-league series and to Bronze next season!

Annandale and Terra Incognito are moving on to the sub-league series. Either Palolo or Shasta will join them in the sub-league, and in Gold next year. That's right 3 teams are moving to gold!

Janesville and Asheboro are moving on to the sub-league series in Bronze. Seattle faces a do-or-die fifth game in the division series to move on. Will they make it?

This means that two (and possibly three) teams will move from Bronze to Silver next year!
