The Rock Piles shifted to cruise control and rode their large lead to an easy win in OL S284.

Norwood finished on fire, rolling over the competition, including taking three from Brigadoon to claim the crown in OL G305.


In PT play, Coney Island bested Krikkit and then a non OL team to break a three-way tie for the NC wild card.

I have seen nothing this week about any of these levels, and am not even sure if iron and stone had enough teams for a crown. Hopefully, someone will step up and post the results so we don't miss anything.

Yesterday morning, I ripped 60 tourney packs (I save them until the weekend), and as typically happens, not much came of it. I did get a live 100, which it looks like will not sell even for the 5-day average.


Anyway, I have diligently saved PP and incrementally tried to improve my teams. However, the AH is totally broken now and it seems you need 50,000 for just one player.



I'm thinking about forgetting the AH and just getting packs with the PP, rather than saving them.



Any thoughts?

That's a darn good question. I have been sitting on points with Jefferson Valley since I turned the roster over a month ago. I purchased my first player for Coney Island last week which was the first change in I would guess eight weeks. I thought about cashing in and buying packs but decided to sit tight and just play tournaments and hope for some pack luck without touching my balance.

For me, I feel comfortable where me teams have landed. JV will go to silver next week which seems to be a challenge for them and Coney Island seems to be settled as an ok gold team that might bounce to diamond every now again and get relegated back after a week or three.

You asked for an opinion, thats mine. I feel like it's a point in the game where I am OK being patient since at the level my teams have settled in at least they are competitive.

just letting my points build up until I can afford an upgrade, even though it's going to probably be pricey... figure with my theme restrictions, it'd be a miracle pack pull to get someone useful.... to obtain packs, I've been more focused on tourneys and trying to nab some a handful or so at a time, and now with the twitch drops, you can add a few packs at a time just watching a live broadcast when they come up...



and with regards to the PT season..... the Syrups "hot" streak in the final month was good enough to prevent them from setting the worst single season team record in franchise history (they went 56-106 in their last brief trip to Gold tier; so 58-104 is a slight improvement ).... and it was kinda fun having no pressure in September and playing spoiler instead (beat Austin 5 out of 6 in the final month... they finished 1 game back of Weston Pointe as a result)

There's only us, the Ciudad Trujillo Dragones, in Stone. We scratched our way into a wildcard spot, so maybe we have a shot at Iron and running into some other OL teams next week?

Are there any playoff roster restrictions? If I grab someone off the AH this morning, can I use him in playoffs?

Here are results for Diamond D367, where a total of 79 games were played between six teams:

Kansas Rangers: 18-11
Shinbone Stars: 11-8
Cary Southpaws: 12-10
Highland Raccoons: 16-16
Hidden Valley Bombers: 10-15
Palolo Puppies: 12-19

In playoff action, the Kansas Rangers are a WC team in the AC, and the Hidden Valley Bombers won their division in the NC where they will take on the SF Peach Kings in the Division Series.

Palolo will be relegated to gold next season, but Shinbone Stars did not get their wish --- they will be back in diamond next year.

You can make changes during the playoffs.

The only restrictions on players are they cannot be live or future legends. When and how you use eligible players is up to you. Good luck in the playoffs.

Shinbone won 14 out of the last 15 games....what the heck! and after having a terrible season up to that point.

Aside to Edster - I think I forgot to identify the ballpark from a couple of seasons back. You guessed Crosley Field, but it was Schibe Park, which was later renamed Connie Mack Stadium.
