Jack Coombs pitched very well, allowing only two hits in 8 innings, but Irv Young had a terrible 9th and the Dodgers hitters could do nothing against Babe Adams, so the Reds won, 4-0.

The Dodgers seemed to have this one in hand but the Reds came back in the 9th to snatch a 5-3 victory.

Bart Sullivan left the game with an ab strain. It doesn't look like IL time, but he won't be pitching for a week.

For the Bigs it was Josh Devore, Rustlers & Honus Wagner, Naps.

The Dodgers have slid all the way down to #7 on the Weekly Power Rankings.

In the first game of a double header, the Dodgers absolutely destroyed the Pirates, winning 16-3.

Dick Hoblitzell went 2 for 4 with a home run and 5 RBI while Jack Lapp hit a grand slam.

The Pirates have lost 10 in a row.
