APLB - One Opening at the end of 1881
Alternate Professional League Baseball is about to complete the 1881 regular season. We are a twelve team league that uses real players with fictional teams and started with the 1871 season. The league will be expanding to sixteen teams in 1884.
The GM of the New Orleans Mardi Gras has to step down due to personal reasons. If you wish to take over the team but want to move them, you will be able to use the "new ownership rule" to move them to a new market before the 1882 season begins. The Mardi Gras currently have a record of 37 - 59 with 14 games left in the season. The 1882 draft will be one of the deepest in these early years and the Mardi Gras should have a top pick. If you would like to take the Mardi Gras or be placed on the waiting list, please send an email to pmpiro@yahoo.com. The website is linked in my sig below. |
